Love this, please do a series of them, Can your next interviewer (if you choose to continue) be most similar to the person that misunderstands you most, when you understand that they do not understand you, but they think they do,However as a guest you make your point by remaining as the person they percieved you to be
Yeah, I might consider that. This was an experiment more than anything. I do have many stories to share from my quake history so I definitely want to tell those some day! Might talk to a real interview for that though.. or simply keep the interviewer out of the shot.
Hi gunny! I was hoping most of all that I would show another side of me. I find that when I look in the camera to do video blogs, sometimes it can come off fake.
Hi Jody, I like that you are experimenting with the format of your video and this is an interesting idea. Have you thought of maybe having someone else play the interviewer role? Doing both roles yourself - it comes across as a little artificial and distracting. I'm guessing that might be difficult though as you would need to find someone who is happy to spare the time.
I think interviewing yourself like this is an original and creative way to share a bit about yourself, your thoughts and your feelings - and I completely agree that the things from your childhood directly influence your passions as an adult.
I have to admit though, that I would have enjoyed it better had the interviewer taken the time to ask more questions and would have been less ditsy.
Great idea none-the-less, and I hope you keep experimenting with your videos. :)
Great feedback. The original plan was to have someone prissy, but I figured I would make her less knowledgeable instead. Makes sense as it may have taken away the interview answers from her being a distraction.
Oh BTW if you send me a message i can send you a few pics of the Lighthouse i visit frequently. Occasionally see peoples launch Hang Gliders from that spot. 15 mile long beach completely empty of people :) Doesn't get much better than that hehe
Lol Jody that was fun ^_^ I understand passion intimately ;) Mine is Aviation. Aerobatics is my passion. Gaming is my hobby :) Hard to share what i do with people, or at least it's hard for people to understand what i get from it, and i don't blame them lol, its not for everyone. My father was the biggest influence in my life when it comes to what drives me. He spent hours watching cartoons with me as well :D 38 yrs on and we still have time for cartoons. Game for fun and LIVE u'r passion

I like how you expressed this, it's a good way to make one understand. I also used to watch Pete's dragon as a kid :) ~ GunnyHath @ GS.

I think your blonde character was spot on. I imagine most gamers have encountered a fair share of naive people who see video games as childish.
I think that that's what made the blonde so funny-- it's because it's something we can relate to.
