My comment didn't have anything to do with just making fun of people. I have no problem with that. It's the way it's done here that I dislike, because it implicitly assumes homosexuality is automatically bad or laughable. I would say the same thing if this ad used race, etc. (i.e., assuming that if Mr. Met were Jewish, this would be funny in and of itself).

It's not because it's un-PC. It's because it's cheap and childish, and there are much more clever, respectful ways to mock someone.
