I was in the same situation back in the late 70's. Unlike Greg I never came out until I was well into my 30's. It is extremely hard to live a life as someone else, you never really know who you are. I lost ALL my friends! Good for you Greg, you should be proud of your position in life.

I didn't sue the school, which I was advised to do but didn't. I sued the hospital for breech of confidential records. I am sure if some one released to the town why you were in the hospital you would sue as well.

If I were him, I wouldn't stay in the area of western Penn and in a small town. It is sad, but if he was in a more progressive area it would be not much of a problem. I find it funny when people say they don't believe in the bible. hundreds of prophecies came true, first book to be scientifically accurate (that there was an earth that rotated on its own axis), has held together for thousands of years, everything matches early manuscripts to the T, and an amazing unity to the books despite being written by dozens of authors over thousands of years in many different places.

Just watching this clip brought on a flood of tears. As a college kid who didnt come out until college I fully appreciate what he went through. I was the captain of the schools grass hockey and swim team, the fear of being outted was always present.

I was actually trying to kill myself, as I was swallowing each pill I kept thinking of things I will miss, I did need a cry for help. I am so sick and tired of hearing that shit. I wanted to die. Thankfully I did not, and found things to be much differently. Do not accuse those who try suicide as a cry for help, many suicide attempts are a actual attempt to die. It needs to be taken seriously and not passed off as a cry.

What have I said that is hateful? Honestly I have a gay friend. I disagree with it, but he is my friend non the less. I stand up for him all the time and get pissed when people bully him. Bottom line is I do not bully around or hate gays. I do however try to educate them. Just as you try to spread pro gay awareness, I educate them on religion and gay.
No I have not twisted gods word. Peace loving new agers have twisted it. God is just, and has demands.

There is nothing wrong with being religious, but its wrong to use religion to denouce a group of people, Osama Bin Laden uses Islam to denounce Democracy, while thebigjonson you uses Christianity to denouce perfectly normal gay people, you and Osama are no different than Adolf Hitler in this sense. Gay relationships and straight relationships are no different, they are a way to show love and affection. You should remove any stereotypes about gay ppl, is psychologically unhealthy.

I was in the same situation back in the late 70's. Unlike Greg I never came out until I was well into my 30's. It is extremely hard to live a life as someone else, you never really know who you are. I lost ALL my friends! Good for you Greg, you should be proud of your position in life.

I didn't sue the school, which I was advised to do but didn't. I sued the hospital for breech of confidential records. I am sure if some one released to the town why you were in the hospital you would sue as well.

Ok, well I can understand that then. That does seem justified and fair in my view. However I will say sueing for money is kind of a selfish action, getting whoever leaked the information fired would certainly be appropriate given these circumastances. And I would support a civil suit against that individual, but not against the business ( espescially a good faith operation like a hospital)

(BTW: They're are gay animals. Take penguins two male penguins had a relationship for life, never had sex with a female. They stayed together for life(The broke them up and they would not go with a female). They used a rock instead of an egg. The Zoo keeper gave them a fertile egg and the raised it together. Gay penguins? No they get misconstrued for being gay based on the fact that they huddle around for warmth. Their minimal ammount of lipid tissue cannot support their environment, that is why they often group in large numbers.
Do you also realize that leviticus and deuteronomy are pre christ. The significance of this is that in order to please god and be granted forgiveness before christ, they had to repent to strict guidelines. Christ was perfect and the eternal sacrifice, we need only pray.

First of all it does talk about creation, as the first chapter of genesis (and the bible for that matter) speaks of god creating the earth and everything in it in 6 days and resing on the 7th, which is the basis for our standard and mordern week.
Second of all the old commands on sacrifices are not valid anymore becuase christ whiped away sins. We no longer need to give up certain meats, sacrifice, or shaving. Those were all acts of loyalty that have been replaced with prayer and communion

No he didnt actually, becuase even after his death (mathew-john) there are ample scriptures that are against homosexuality. Its still not okay to sin. That being said, nobody is perfect. The only thing that changed is that now all we have to do is honstly repent for our wrong doings and believe. And living a homosexual lifestyle is not capable of being repentant becuase it is a repetive sin that you repeat day after day.
