As an update, the Houston SPCA released 11 of the almost 1000 pit bulls/pit bull mixes to rescue groups and the tiny pups went to Citizens for Animal Protection(not a no kill) in Houston. Several were adopted into good homes through Scout's Honor Rescue, Inc. One was claimed by her owners in the nick of time, then they left her waiting for another five weeks at the SPCA, where Scout's Honor Rescue has agreed to take her into their program.
