However I do believe as a result of Obama's green initiative food prices have spiked severely as a result of it with the production of crops being used for ethanol, with Obama's artificially created demand for green products and fuel. working government officials should have no expectation of privacy in a public venue. I think that even their offices and meetings should be videotaped and put on UTUBE unless their are national security issues involved. but on a state level their is no reason every conversation in the state buildings could not be or should not be recorded, no more back room deals! record everything.
What we need is a more organized movement that everyone knows about that fights and maintains the right for citizens to defend themselves with video cameras. The ACLU could be involved of course. I believe youtubers(like DEMCAD) have done a great job in bringing to light the issue of the importance of this issue. An overwhelming majority of the employees voted SEIU out and the employer stopped recognition of the union. They brought 12 complaints against the MHA which were dismissed by the NLRB. Demcad you and everyone else here should read thru the last two years worth of Wired magazine. There is a lot of prosumer DIY in the garage industries that are starting to pop up. Most of this work is open source with peer review and many people are buying kits and completed items. Makerbot and Arduino are the two best examples of the new prosumer maker industry that is happening.
As long as government is continuing to eat up resources that should be going to the private sector, we will continue to see this number go up and the middle class shrink. As far as the video taping of police, they need to realize they are going to be held accountable and under scrutiny. If you are there to uphold the law, that makes you under it, not above it.

Levi's cost almost a half a days pay , VCR's cost almost a month's pay. The first caculator I saw when I was in high school was about 300 dollars , that was when min. wage was 1.65 an HR., PC's were about 10,000 dollars . things are cheap because they are made in china.

@zac030101 Texas instruments came out with one of the first caculators I ever saw around 1975 it cost 300 dollars , the Apple Lisa was about 10 grand when it first came out and then they came out with the MAC and that was a couple of grand, I think I was making between 200 and 300 a week about then,.It was made in the US ,.When my kids were small for their birthday I used to have to rent a video camera and player, The first VCR I ever saw was around 1978 or 79 it cost almost 2,000 dollars

People in China make about 300 dollars a month, in Mexico they make about 60 dollars a week . It cost too much to manufacture in the US anymore . the only reason things are cheap here is because people in other countries will work for slave wages.

@zac030101 Our local mental health agency just spent $150K defending themselves against SEIU. An overwhelming majority of the employees voted SEIU out and the employer stopped recognition of the union. They brought 12 complaints against the MHA which were dismissed by the NLRB. Unions = Legalized Extortion. The other issue we have, like DEMCAD said, is we don't manufacture anything here anymore (lost jobs). And unfortunately, if we did, the union prices we would pay still slit our own throats.

That is the sole cause of hunger. Venus Project has no solution to this. There is no such thing as abundance, especially not from technology. IF Venus Project included secret or later non-secret plans to use force to stop us from making babies by calculating food available then we'd be murdered but not starved.

My boyfriend is not trashy and in fact has had a job for five years and works his tail off to keep it. I have lots of black friends and friends of ever race and I help my community out to prevent the hate that you have because I think it's silly and dangerous.
