Hi there love the software but I get no rythmn section only chords and melody can't seem to find out how to include these in the backing tracks any help would be most welcome.
@raigonzales To shorten the duration of a note (e.g. add rest), position the cursor on the slot where you want the note to end, and press r. To lengthen the duration, position the cursor over the rest following and press x.
i take that back. It may do a lot. Its almost easier to just stick with the textual entry because its so difficult to get sixteenth notes with the other methods. Really needs a simple note/rest entry toolbar like most editors have.

@Cabbycabbage Try running the leadsheet _tutorial.ls first. This seems to activate the bass and drums.

it looks easy to use but it's not. i prefer having the notes and other symbols available just like in finale. but nice tutorial though!

Sixteenth notes are trivial. Press 4 (notes per beat), then point and click.
