It has been rumored that the pictures were faked, and as seen in this video... it is clearly a possibility. As a matter of fact, it is very unlikely that the pictures are real. - As for the scribble at the bottom of the page, it would be there covering the date just to further "secrefy" the product's research. It makes the viewer feel privileged to have access to the picture.
