I have done this trick many years and it's like what THEIDIOTSGUIDETOLIFE SAID...the trick doesnt matter...its how you perform it....coz by now most people clue up to how its done...its the comedy you put into it makes it a classic and people forget how its done.....such a worthy classic with your own personal touch.

verry simple, the world is a big place, there are magicians all over it, every magician cant invent magic, they have to be taught, so when a trick is made you cant travel arround showing every magician who wants to use it but you cant just post it online cuz then everyone knows it, but u usually dont go spend 100 bux on a trick unless u will use it in shows for money, so charging helps eliminate that problem, plus then the inventor gets something for it instead of giving it away
