God will ask us what we have done to cause his will in what is his world, whether we have lifted a finger to help his people in need or whether we have remained indifferent to their suffering in our self righteousness.

The government should protect the right of Christians to tell gays to repent, in their noses, without getting attacked, and the right of gays to freely use their God given bodies as they see fit (although they are so wrong) Gays should be able to call a christian "religious nut" or something worse, without getting physically attacked (If someone assaults a foul mouthed person he is not a Christian, for our Lord said "love thy enemies" and "show the other cheek." Christians dont assault. Period.

I am an unltraconservative Christian. I think gays are going to Hell. BUT, it is against the constitution to regulate marriage at all, like. To prohibit, or tax a certain kind of union is to mess with the first ammendment.
Taxes should be the same for everyone, regardless of our sexual lives. Now, gays can unite sexually and wont get arrested. What they want is married people tax benefits. There shouldn't be tax benefits for anyone for reason of sex!. VOTE LIBERTARIAN. Liberty for all.

Marriage has continually changed. Otherwise, it might still be a simple property transaction, rife with polygamy, child brides, and legal rape, but no interracial unions.
Forcing churches to perform gay marriages was never a possibility, because separation of church and state allows them to discriminate against whomever they choose.
If prop 8 were meant to protect marriage, why didn't it address ANY of the issues that actually DO harm marriages, like infidelity, spousal abuse, and divorce?
