guitar doesn't require moving your feet. Don't mention pedals because they're not necessary to play it but sound awesome. No one plays better than this guy on Youtube. It matches the recording nearly perfectly. Dysfunction is one of the better albums Staind has made.

Huge staind fan here. Nice job playing. sure you could move a little bit on the harder parts... but the verses and stuff you're fine cuz as i'm sure you know, mike mushok doesnt move around ALL that much, but he does get low and rock out a bit on the harder parts. But nice job dude!

Well with a better and if you counted as you picked, this isn't too bad. Suggestion: If you are going to make videos with a scenery showing behind you instead of a close up with the guitar, move a little. :) Rock out a bit, or something.

also for a normal guitar i think it sounds better whe you play right in front of the bridge of the guitar not in the middle

put your figer on the top string but don't put any pressure on the string just have your finger on the 5th fret the go 5544332222334455 or count in your head 1234561234123456 and so on, and to get the right tone for the harmonics on this song put your amps bass on 10 and 6.5 on treble also turn your tone to 0 on your guitar

Do you by chance own a Novax guitar? I ask this only because Home and A Flat sound way better on it rather than the MMM1. I mean, you're like a Mike Mushok Jr., so having his other guitars would make it even better, riiiiiggghhtt? (Even if the Novax costs approx. 6 grand)

No I dont have a Novax but I wish I did. I guess the fanned frets reall help bring out harmonics which would be great on Mudshovel. They also somehow help with the scale length of the neck from what I have read.

fanned frets have absolutely nothing to do with harmonics. the sole purpose is to make the intonation more precise.

Thansk I tried to play it on Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb tune on the 6th string but it didn't sound the same. You should trie to play Safe Place or Suffer

Tune to Ab Db Ab Db Gb Bb and just strum the 5th string between the 2nd and 4th fret sliding up and down. You will hear the harmonics and figure it out. Try to play along with the song - that ALWAYS helps me learn!
