That's funny cause after I watched your vid last night I did just the thing with the blocks. (I use blocks often for mountain climbers exercise and such)
Love using blocks! I would glide into lizard pose as well which really creates space in the hips.
@jackmikebest ...we are all yogis at heart whether we practice physical postures (asana) or not, unassuming humans disregard awareness, are tied up rehashing & rehearsing instead of being alive & awake fully present right here & now. why we call it practice because always a journey!
wow does this really work??

Fun, and yeah, mindful when executed that way.
Thanks. Loving it ....especially at the beginning of a flow.

@Daniea3 ...Hands on blocks option creates extra space for leg switch & is a nice modification for a change.
Something about flow movement that is intoxicating to me! Need to practice more.

Thanks for sharing that with me. I am not a yogini so all this is new to me. I enjoy your intellectual dimension as well as your art. Blessings.

Love your metaphor about "meditation in motion. . . like the ocean"
jackmikebest 1 year ago
@jackmikebest...thanks, added the ocean part myself but have commonly heard "meditation in motion" for describing vinyasa.
