When you review the scientific papers out there you find that nothing has done more to "GREEN" the planet over the past few decades than elevated levels of atmospheric CO2 together with moderate sun-driven warming of the planet. If you should doubt this assertion, simply Google "Biological Effects of Carbon Dioxide Enrichment" and "Solar Inertial Motion (SIM) model of global warming". "Why have environmental groups and our government turned this obvious gift of nature on its head?"

It will be interesting to see if something new will come out climate change rhetoric in Copenhagen given the new faces in world leadership stage with the likes of Obama, Gordon Brown, Kevin Rudd. I highly doubt.

Third world countries too are fueling climate change. Rapid population growth, poverty and encroachment on their remaining natural habitats.

I can assure you the impact of third world countries on a scale of one to ten is 0.00000000001 combined. If Kyoto Protocol was anything to go be the Joint Implementation and Technology Transfer mechanisms of the Kyoto agenda would have lifted developing countries out of poverty. If Climate change is real, it is 99% a function of industrialized nations. Either way developed countries are fucked... That aside, whats your FB ID out of curiosity and brotherhood.

In my opinion therefore, it is inconsequential for developing countries, especially in Africa to tag onto the asses of industrialized nations in this debate.

It's apparent that the West would like to credit third world with almost all major catastrophes real and imagined...yet capitalism and in the last few decades China have been pumping hot gases in huge amounts into the atmosphere.

You are right, the so called industrialized nations have been pumping shit gasses into the atmosphere since the industrial revolution and now they want us to join the climate change bandwagon yet we are still in pre-medieval age. I bet you one major commercial building or skyscraper in the US could be consuming energy equivalent to North eastern and Eastern provinces combined. It is just not a fair game.

annoying then how they'll drag us to the table and make us feel guilty for picking up firewood in our backyards...they'll not let 3rd World own energy nuclear reactors even, how else do we cook then? in the sun? Congo and Amazon forests are intact I suppose.
