Hi

It will only make it stickly if you put too much in, you really do only needs a few sprays.

You can probably tell if there is some product if you touched it i guess... never really thought about that one! But you can probably feel it a bit, its not sticky just different to the rest of your hair when it does have product in it.

Puttys and hair powder are good for adding volume too- like Schwarzkopf - Dust It Mattifying Powder or Clynol Powder Punch.

No problem! You could try the treseme 24 hour body root boost spray doesn't leave any tacky feeling in your hair whatsoever. It definately gives some body but not as much as those that are slightly harder feeling- they just work better but it means you are compromising non sticky roots for bigger hair.

Fortunately, I'm also a licensed Cosmetologist, so I get professional products at half the cost. So, for me to buy professional vs drugstore products are almost equivalent.

But, I haven't tried every product, yet. LOL

I have recently gotten the putty by L'Oreal and have been using it for the past week, every day. I find it hard to make it work though. I have wavy hair but it got very dry through using it. I'm not sure if I should continue using it. Could you make it work for yourself?

I have the same problem I really want that volume ompf hair!! I have the John Masters sea mist too but am not too sure about it - I just feel like it makes my hair dirty & that I need to wash my hair after it! I have the Tigi root boost & the s factor - love them both!! I get mine in Sally's beauty supplies! Will have to try that mousse!! Think I have a problem lol!!!

if you want to get mega volume try "big sexy hair products" im not sure if they have them in europe but they should... they have a whole range to scrunch/curl your hair too. Its expensive, but Frederick Fekkai makes a good wave spray as well!!

I use that Tigi root boost stuff too :). I really like it. I have a problem with stick-straight hair too, so I stocked up on a lot of volumizing products about a year ago. Unfortunately, most of them are sitting under my sink now... oops :).

My hair is is more fine than yours even and to get nice thick waves I like to put it up in pin curls and I also have one of those three barrel style crimpers which works very nicely as well. I always fall back on good old spiral curls though, and back combing works too.
