forget salon products. they suck. too expensive w/mostly drugstore ingredients. Pantene is better than them all. i always get compliments on my long, shiny, beautiful hair. Pantene Rules.
wella makes hair products?. u.u why do us canadians get left in the dark!.. seriously..u say wella and i think Equine! like clippers and stuff other horse stuff. thats soo odd!
I bought both the tigi products!-I'm easily convinced!- but the S Factor body booster is INCREDIBLE! My hair is huge thank you so much for recommending!
It will only make it stickly if you put too much in, you really do only needs a few sprays.
You can probably tell if there is some product if you touched it i guess... never really thought about that one! But you can probably feel it a bit, its not sticky just different to the rest of your hair when it does have product in it.
Puttys and hair powder are good for adding volume too- like Schwarzkopf - Dust It Mattifying Powder or Clynol Powder Punch.
No problem! You could try the treseme 24 hour body root boost spray doesn't leave any tacky feeling in your hair whatsoever. It definately gives some body but not as much as those that are slightly harder feeling- they just work better but it means you are compromising non sticky roots for bigger hair.
Fortunately, I'm also a licensed Cosmetologist, so I get professional products at half the cost. So, for me to buy professional vs drugstore products are almost equivalent.
I have recently gotten the putty by L'Oreal and have been using it for the past week, every day. I find it hard to make it work though. I have wavy hair but it got very dry through using it. I'm not sure if I should continue using it. Could you make it work for yourself?
Ha i'd say loads of people have already said this but Ah! I didn't know you're irish! Well i hadn't watched any of your videos.. but when i watched this i recognised the accent :)
Hey! Love the video and it gave great suggestions for voloumizing products....I'm really thinking of purchasing one of those TIGI products....if you had to only purchase one of those TIGI prods, which one would it be? and why? I have dark, thick shoulder length hair....please respond! thank you xoxo
Great vid! Youshould also give some of the fudge products a go... their 'fat hed' range is AWESOME. You can't get them here :( but you can get them online.
same! OMG i have spent so much money on rootlifters, mouse, sprays and everything else! i hate my flat straight hair!!! i think i might just bite the bullet and get hair extensions!!!! i will definitly try out the catwalk stuff though never thought of it!!
I have the same problem I really want that volume ompf hair!! I have the John Masters sea mist too but am not too sure about it - I just feel like it makes my hair dirty & that I need to wash my hair after it! I have the Tigi root boost & the s factor - love them both!! I get mine in Sally's beauty supplies! Will have to try that mousse!! Think I have a problem lol!!!
Wow, great review! I'm so tempted now to go and buy all of this too!! :D ....must....resist ... ;) And your hair looks lovely, really silky and shiny!!
Great review!! Do you know if that Loreal Hot Curl Spray can be used in naturally curled hair to define the curls? I have not found any amazing product yet for this purpose... and believe me, I have tried a lot of them... Thanks and regards from Spain! Have a nice day!!
Hi, thanks for your review on the products you have recently purchased. I like to try out different products as well. ps. I dont think you speak too fast!!! LOL :o)
if you want to get mega volume try "big sexy hair products" im not sure if they have them in europe but they should... they have a whole range to scrunch/curl your hair too. Its expensive, but Frederick Fekkai makes a good wave spray as well!!
:( I wish I lived in Dublin!! Then we could be best friends...LOL!! Aww I can't believe you mentioned me :) I watched this with Jonathan and he steals my hair products too so when you held it up he was like "hey that's our hair stuff!!" Ha ha! I can't believe your parents are both hairdressers you're so lucky!! No wonder you have gorgeous hair...I hate you a little bit now :) xoxo Anna
very informative..i use aussie volume shampoo and it gives my hair volume right away ..i think all the products these days really actually do something instead of claiming to do do something then do nothing x sorry if this doesnt make sense ive got toothache and cant think straight lol xx
I use that Tigi root boost stuff too :). I really like it. I have a problem with stick-straight hair too, so I stocked up on a lot of volumizing products about a year ago. Unfortunately, most of them are sitting under my sink now... oops :).
My hair is is more fine than yours even and to get nice thick waves I like to put it up in pin curls and I also have one of those three barrel style crimpers which works very nicely as well. I always fall back on good old spiral curls though, and back combing works too.
I LOVE YOUR ACCENT!!!!!!!! XD

08emily89,
I'd love to try the S Factor body booster.
Q: Does it leave your hair sticky or rough?
Q: Can you tell that there is product in the hair?
Thank you so much.

08Emily89,
Thank you so much for your reply.
Your feedback is very helpful.
I just don't want anything tacky or gummy feeling. LoL
I might have to check out a few of these products.
I really appreciate your help.

08emily89,
I will certainly look into that.
I have baby fine hair, and if I get products that are too sticky, I'm afraid it will damage my hair even more.
I know - why can't a product have it all? LoL
You've been very helpful.
I can't thank you enough.
:)

Your welcome- definately give the treseme a try first since its the most affordable! :D
