I still have to cry when I watch this, even after all this time. And it saddens me deeply, when I see what the writers are doing with them now. I just hope they have good things in mind, because it would be the most horrifying thing when they don't end up together. This is one of the best scenes from Gossip Girl. The writers were brilliant with making them so epic, but it seems like they try to destroy them more and more. No matter what: I will go down with this ship, if I have to.

I'm gonna be honest here - I'm a Dair fan. And I still immensely enjoyed this scene. If only their storyline didn't get so screwed over time… maybe there would be a tiny flicker of a chance for me to root for them as endgame. But they destroy each other. There's no way these two could be happy together, there always would be that "something" that would make them fall apart over and over. I'm not here to hate, though. As I said - great scene. Possibly their best, just as the title suggests.
