occasionally when melee's occur, the phisics in halo bug a bit and can amplify

this is the source of many a 13 yr old shouting Falcon punch, when a melee sends a body flying

my guess is that he threw a punch and your game glitched/lagged which cause him to "falcon punch" you without u haveing to have died

then you died from the fall

That's pretty funny. I've done something like that before... I assassinated someone on Sandtrap and punted them across the map. Good 4-5 seconds of hangtime

At 0:23 and 0:32 you can here a Grav HAmmer go off... I've tested this before but Grav Hammers can screw you over even if you're like half way across the map.

wow u guys r idiots there is a logical explanation..(not completely) but wat happened is he jumped to melee him and landed on him and he was moving in the oposite direction he meleed him and killed him and then went to jump but wat he did was jump of the guys head and went of the edje lol i am great

Maybe his head is a bouncy type of rubber and when you hit it you were forced backwards. Or it's one of Newton's Laws, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So you're spartan went super Saiyan on him and because there was so much force the game had no choice but to make you fly backwards.

You hit him in the head, thus awakening a hidden portion of his brain. This unlocked super-SPARTAN strength.
