  • wtf is up with robin hood?? haha!

  • Cool! Where did you get the voices?

  • I ripped the audio from a movie, "Saving Private Ryan."

  • Can I just say that this video is in no way a war simulation.

New lego video coming soon guys. I've already got 1/2 the footage.

  • awsome! that was like in d day!

  • I am not going to say i could do a better job, I know for a fact i could not make a decent stop-motion video, but i will say that it could of been some-what smoother. Not trying to be rude, just trying to be...constructive. 4 stars.

  • Go watch "another D-day" by me :)

  • woooo that kicked ass

  • Thank you

  • the boat should not be yellow but becide that ok

  • Go watch anoter D-day :)

Tell me EVERYONE WHO READS THIS, should I make another Lego Video?

  • yh u should

  • Hmm. I'll give it a crack.

  • good work :P 10/10

  • Cool!

  • wow that part in SPR is so sad. so gruesome too. remember the part when it shows that guys intestines?! the maker has balls, dude.

  • It's not dedicated to the men who died there, nor is it supposed to be a remake. It's a lego animation. I don't want to cause offence or make people sad, it's simply a video to make people go 'Hey, cool lego!"

  • Hey, I have a question to the maker of this vid. How did you inport the audio into your vid from the movie Saving privet ryan? I been trying to find out how to do that and I still need some guidance. Can you please tell me how you did it? please?

  • Audacity (Google it) then set recording device to Speakers and play the movie and record at the same time.

  • what version do you have from audacity do you have. Its really complicated to do anything. I dont know how to control a thing. And now i dont know how to fix things that the toolbars used to have...Argh, can you give me gudiance?

  • Press ctrl+p

Go to the Audio I/O tab.

Set Recording Device as Stereo Mix or speakers or whatever.

Then paly the movie and press the bug red record button. You should see it recording.

Press stop when done and export it as a .wav

  • it's cool

  • great vid!

  • holy crap alien germans!

  • They're robots...

  • What set did they come in?

  • lol marshmallows at 1:14

  • you must have alot of lego guys

  • that was amazing

  • ha pretty cool

  • Good very good

  • cool! echt geil

  • you must be serious but it is a bit funny... nice idea!

  • Lego vids are so awesome..... lol a guy had a long bow =D

  • lol great job

  • how do you inport the sound of the movie into your vids?

  • I use a program called audacity (google it), and I also use Windows Media Player (Because it's cool). Play the movie on windows media player, and put audactiy on the input of "Stereo Speakers", it records the sounds coming from your computer through the speakers, then I export it as .wav or .mp3

  • its good but its making fun of the real d day i hate u all

  • Oh my god! Bang. I killed you for taking this the wrong way.

  • i hate all of u do you actually know what d-day was like my great uncle died there you should be ahamed!!

  • Notice:

    a) It's not dedicated

    b) There's no humans in it

    c) It's not a re-enactment

    d) it's not like the D-day landings at all (It's on flaming carpet!

    e) I shouldn't be ashamed, because it's a Lego video, not a D-day re-enactment.

  • How come some had bows??

Lol other then that great movie

  • Ran out of guns.

  • run out of guns

  • Well done / and well made

  • Ok, well, use a program called audacity. Download it (It's about 400KB) and change the input setting to "Stereo Speakers" and play the bit of audio you want in Media player or the MAc equivelent, in my case I played Saving Private Ryan the beach scene. Stop recording when done. Hope that helps.

  • Very very nice I'm going to make a video like this soon I gave it 5 stars

  • Thank you.

  • well done very creative

  • hey mate, i quite enjoyed that video... its so ood to see lego do all that...so much fun...looking forward to seeing more great videos from you. 5 stars

  • nvm ill take back my previous comment....Awesome video 5/5 is still!

  • Awesomeeeee, one advice though, try making them moev a little less on the next one...5/5 anyway kickass

  • sweet video probley took long time cool!!!

  • could be better!

  • True, watch "Another D-day" by me, it's WAY better.

  • lets get somthin straight, you just copied of of saving private ryan! you need to come up with you own sound effects and own way of the plot. you should also consider using more legos if you are going to make lego movies instead of useing blankets!!! this movie sucked and i give it an F

  • That's the whole point genius.

I give your spelling and grammar an F, and you attitude towards videos done in two hours. If you watch my other video, "Another D-Day", I made better animation and some better props. Besides, this is a bit of fun, why take it so seriously?

  • stickman ur videos good and this one two but u shouldnt make fun of peoples videos when theyre using their imagination not ur imagination they can post whatever they want on youtube

  • I never made fun of anyone elses videos did I?

  • this wuz funy

  • Just like Ieatskotchtape said, you take a photo of the figures, move them a little and then take another. It takes a while and it definitely is frustrating. With the photos you then use a program to bring them all together. For this video I used Windows Movie Maker, but I use Image Ready now.

  • oi just take like a thousand photos of the lego dudes moving them only a tiny bit, check out my vid "frank's awesome morph video"

  • at that secene after they sat on the water ... was that robin hood?! o.O

    your crazy ^^

  • not bad!

  • That was actually pretty funny, The start was almost entirely like Saving Private ryan

  • dude this is GREAT!

  • how many lego men and guns + lego u got

  • A lot. I ave 75 Megabloks Dragons Soldiers, and I think 120 Lego guys. As for weapons, I got over 200 Megabloks weapons and infinite Lego weapons...

  • that clip rules !!! but it woud have been bete if it was longer :/

  • dude this is asume u should make more like this

  • what the hell is robin hood doing in there lol!

  • awesome!!

  • that was great, if only it was longer!

  • Well My holidays are here so maybe I will make another lego movie. I think I'll just make a massive battle...

  • that was a good movie

  • LOL AWESOME!

  • awsome really really awsome and for real

  • its good, but a higher frame rate will make it better. you use a windows, right? its harder on windows. not that i like mac better, but they are good for making stop motion and movies and such.

  • I'll keep that in mind.

  • sweet

  • lol cool

  • Do you know when this film was made, and the name of the guy

  • If you're talking about Saving Private Ryan, it was made by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.

  • not bad like it

  • hahaha that funny =P

  • Is it just me or did the hill change color?

It's red in 0:09 but blue in 0:25?!!?!!

  • Yeah, about that. It goes from Orange to grey. Whoops. I made it over two days, and had to pack it up after the first day.

  • SIK VID DUDE! man dat was awesome, it was kool 2 use the sounds from savin private ryan 2.

  • PEOPLE READ THE DESCRIPTION... -_-

  • They've got some serious supply problems if they were using longbows there. :D (take this as joke)

  • LoL

  • COOL

  • lol with the marshmellows and the bunker. good improvising.

  • well done!

  • not bad, did you use every single lego guy?

  • Nah, I had some spares.

  • everyone go to plugz channel and see the best saving private ryan in lego form and its called Saving Ryans Bricks

  • You are correct, the guy who made it is my friend.

  • plus that the story dosent fit the movie any place becaus of the fales declarments u made withing the bunkers

  • What? There's no writing anywhere.

  • u need army men and mor obstacles and even trenches and dont forget the side machine gunners

  • I don't think I'll make another one.

  • very good, i liked the way you showed dirt and water being kicked up by the gun fire

  • lol

  • Good job.

  • thats just weird why would

there be a bow at that guy who died ill give it 3\5

  • i saw saving pivot ryan its VERY good

  • Best D-day stop motion film i've seen so far lol

  • 10/5 congrats dude

  • lol robin hood at omaha??^^

  • ??????????????????????????????????????????

  • LOL! Do any of u know a good d-day movie? I mean like not a youtube one! 6/5

  • I'll give it a shot.

  • nice job musta took ages

  • dshgrsfbbf

  • yeww

  • I think they were cotton. Anyway, what i liked about it was that you had made it so large.

  • man, i just love how even in peril, death, and destruction, lego dudes always smile. ;D

  • Awesome and the end lmao, masrhmellows xD

  • sweet

  • awesome dude !!!!!!!!!

how long did it take to make the movie?

  • 4 hours, not including copy the images to my PC (Due to my PC being incredibly slow and silly, it took ages).

    :D

  • how did you get the sound on the movie because made one but i can't get the saving private ryan sounds on? the program i'm using is windows movie maker.

  • I used a program called "Audacity" (Google it). You then ply the movie using windows movie maker (or WinDVD or any other DVD playing program), then pause it on the bit you want sound for. Then hop on Audacity (which is only a few hundred KB's to download) and use "Stereo output" (it's a drop-down menu, you should spot it). Then press the record button and then pay your movie. It will record the sounds you want. When your finished press the "stop" button and go to file>export as .MP3 file or .WAV

  • Why are the soldiers random lego characters?

  • Uh why is there robin hood in there because he's suposed to be dead at dat time. Oh nice vid;-D

  • Awsome movie, it was like saving prt.Ryan.

  • wats wid u n lego man like OMG!!!!!!!!!!!
