Not knowing much about the bible is a good thing, it's better to have Christians who don't know anything about their bloody religion than Christians (or Muslims) who do and are interested in enacting its barbaric teachings.
4:38 technically Jay, in an emergency a Rabbi (or anyone) intending to baptize could do so, at least that's Catholic law. as long as it's done with water and in the name of the Trinity, it's considered valid.

I think she meant that the Bible never specifically said that it was an apple but just that it was a fruit.
