hey people just so you know what djent really is, djent is a chugging riff on the guitar that makes it sound like its going djent, djent , djent, i watched a video with marc okubo and peripherys guitarist, they said that it was a word that meshuggas guitarist used for one technique on the guitar.. its not a genre, just one technique

@csplendrig The production on this album was different than Planetary Duality, and of course the quality on this video isn't top notch so it effects the sound a bit. And this song has a lot of keyboard influence and that weird vocoder shit going on too, listen to some of their other songs.

Hey boring I'll try to clear up your confusion as best I can. Basically when someone talks about something being better or worse, these are subjective opinions and what I view as better could be completely different as to what you view of better sounding is. Some people think a more analog sound is more pleasing to the ears, others prefer digital. I personally prefer a more analog sound but I do concede a good sound is possible with digital as well, when done right - which in this case wasn't.
