When I first heard David singing on the iPlayer, I was amazed at how well the lyrics of his song just happened to fit the tune. Who chooses these songs anyway?

I also really admire David for singing, even though he can't do it terribly well, unlike Stephen Fry who doesn't even try, and usually just recites the words.

I think I'd still be buggered if I knew the music and the lyrics. Because you associate a certain text with a certain melody, and changing to a different one would mess with my mind.
