  • I love David

  • So you're playing Solitaire in the background, I hear.

  • @NMtB4ev4 he does have a girlfriend, fat ass or not

  • @NMtB4ev4 He's got a girlfriend now.

  • I can't even remember the real muppets lyrics because I've listened to David so many times...

  • Oh David Mitchell, how I love you! I'm crying with laughter <3

  • I've just listened to Muppet Shade of Pale six times... :D

  • love muppet whiter shade of pale!

  • You need to get that clicking sound in the background under control. It was really anooying.

  • When I first heard David singing on the iPlayer, I was amazed at how well the lyrics of his song just happened to fit the tune. Who chooses these songs anyway?

I also really admire David for singing, even though he can't do it terribly well, unlike Stephen Fry who doesn't even try, and usually just recites the words.

  • big finish bring it home DAVID !!!

  • I love David Mitchell's singing! That has to be one of the funniest ever one song to the tujne of another!

  • Where's that picture from?

  • david mitchell rocks

  • Thankyou for uploading this! I missed it when it was on :)

  • singing the lyrics of one song to the melody of another sounds like a really hard thing to do XD

i wouldnt have been able to sing anarchy in the uk to the tune of singing in the rain XD haha

i assume they got to practice before this! HAHA

  • They get given the lyrics on paper :P

They know what they have to read, just don't know what tune they have to set it to!

  • haha oooohh right!

still sounds really hard to do! id be buggered if i had to sing it to a melody i didnt know XD

  • @derangedband

I think I'd still be buggered if I knew the music and the lyrics. Because you associate a certain text with a certain melody, and changing to a different one would mess with my mind.

  • I've thought up some good combinations of songs for the 'One Song to the Tune to Another game'. These are:

    W - Away in a Manger T - Jingle Bells

    W - A Hard Day's Night T - Campdown Races

W - Rosie and Jim theme T - How Much is that Doggie in the Window

    W - Hakuna Matata T - The Wonderer
