During 1st trial I digged some fact &was sure he's innocent. After his death, when my sister was still talking bad about him I digged dipper. I like Tom Mesereau. The trial was a circus. And to many people it was just that - but a man's life was on the line. While other "legal experts" tried to look important for the cameras, Mr. Mesereau was inside the courtroom, fighting for his client's life. I read Aphrodite's book online, but I still wish to own a physical copy. If you get the chance to purchase the book, then go for it - it's worth every penny.

I love MJ but everyone around me (in conservative Oklahoma, ugh) refuses to listen to anything I say in his defense. People really do look at the media as if it's the gospel... and they were so malicious and misleading in their coverage. They ruined his life.

If you listen to what Michael said in the Bashir interview, Gavin asked ot sleep in Michael's bed and he let him. He said that he gave Gavin his bed and that he slept on the floor. People seem to miss that.

HE was the 1 who "opened the door" about sleeping in Michael's bed, not Michael himself. On top of that, Michael NEVER made any gesture or sound to shut the kid up! Being part of the movement to have Michael's truth acknowleged will do more to help his children than any amount of tributes. It is totally unacceptable that lies about their father will be something they will have to confront in years to come.
DAZZLERILLUSIO I agree, it's about time MJ's name was cleared and more people read a factual book like this about the trial, rather than just reading/remembering tabloid stories. Even though MJ was found not guilty, people's ignorance never ceases to amaze me.
There is a momentum growing in the movement to have Michael's innocence publicly acknowledged, but it needs centralization if any significant shift is to occur. Aphrodite's book needs to asked for in shops, ask for 2, buy both - and ask them to place 1 on display. To change the largely ignorant perception out there, this small step can have a huge effect. There are many of us fighting for Michael -and his children who survive him - but we need your help.
1st. maybe you are more clever then others :S for many ppl this is not basic knowledge! i think its great somebody is directing ppl to information that otherwise would not even get a second of their attention. It's great to hear that people have been seriously pushing to exonerate Michael from these charges, and fighting the open and overt bias against him in the press. Messerau and Jones have turned out to be better friends to Michael than most of his friends. My thanks goes out to them for their efforts, and I wish them success in their endeavours.
What I'm sad about is that his family hasn't really been supportive of Michael since his death. Instead of focusing on the good things Michael has done, the family chooses to focus on his faults. They have not done anything to defend MJ against these old allegations or alleged drug dependency. Instead they've handed the media more ammunition to use against him. I love this book and I think all MJ fans and foes should read it. It was nice to get an objective look at what really happened during the trial. If someone who was once a strong opponent of Michael Jackson can change her point of view, then so can others. I find it so frustrating how Michael Jackson's reputation is ruined in mainstream society. The media refused to do their jobs in reporting the facts instead they only reported the worst biased garbage. Especially the young generation who grew up with nothing but "Wacko Jacko" in the media.

you know the tv clelebrity gossip biz is really a pay to kill reputations of hollywood celebrity'sand in mj's case his innocent emotional state.I think they should be out lawed and taken off the air. Mr. Mesereau is one of perhaps a handful of decent and honorable people in his profession. HE was the 1 who "opened the door" about sleeping in Michael's bed, not Michael himself. On top of that, Michael NEVER made any gesture or sound to shut the kid up! In other words, because he was teased, "Gavin needed to "save face" w/ a terrible lie. It was better for him to say that he was only in the bed because MJ forced him, instead of facing up to the fact that he got in bed willingly, knowing full well that NOTHING HAPPENED! All this horse hockey, just to save face because he was embarrassed by some little peanut chew head 8th graders who were teasing him & calling him "gay". There is a momentum growing in the movement to have Michael's innocence publicly acknowledged, but it needs centralization if any significant shift is to occur. Aphrodite's book needs to asked for in shops, ask for 2, buy both - and ask them to place 1 on display. To change the largely ignorant perception out there, this small step can have a huge effect. What I'm sad about is that his family hasn't really been supportive of Michael since his death. Instead of focusing on the good things Michael has done, the family chooses to focus on his faults. They have not done anything to defend MJ against these old allegations or alleged drug dependency. Instead they've handed the media more ammunition to use against him. I'm glad MJ that you are away from all this pain. Justice will happen for Mike in time.

I love this book and I think all MJ fans and foes should read it. It was nice to get an objective look at what really happened during the trial. If someone who was once a strong opponent of Michael Jackson can change her point of view, then so can others. I just wish that people would open their eyes and see that this man was wrongfully persecuted. No, he wasn't a perfect person. He made mistakes. But he certainly wasn't the vile criminal he's been painted to be.

Mr.Mesereau has given us an example of professionalism,he brilliantly conducted the case.I admire him for his dedication to his client,how he managed to focus in that atmosphere of adversity.He made justice for Michael!But regrettably this ordeal he went through,already killed him inside by the time he was exonerated.Anybody feeling guilty?greedy people?manipulative media?!

I am crying wathcing this video just thinking what MJ had to go through. Thank God! There are still few good people. They are willing to tell the truth. However, it's so sad that most people won't even bother to find out the truth. So sad.
