What? of course it's their amps. Gojira used Dual Rectifiers and Marshall cabs a majority of the time. Just recently they have been endorsed by EVH and have been using their amps/cabs live.

I saw Gojira first at St. Paul at Station 4 where there is no space between the floor and the stage. It's pretty amazing when one of your favorite bands is close enough to touch. Got to talk to Christian afterwards. He's awesome. GOJIRA FOREVER

Gojira are fucking immense live. Probably suit an arena type better, as this song live in the Manchester Apollo when they toured with Trivium in April was absolutely brilliant. Not only was Mario Duplantier's drumming immense, it echoed round the room and felt totally legendary.

hey buddy, Gateways to Annihilation absolutely sucked. Everything after David Vincent was bad...(I'm not even being biased, ask any MA fan). But yes, the first four albums are legendary death metal.

This band takes from Morbid Angel, but also Strapping Young Lad, Neuorisis and a lil Tool. And besides, their sound is still pretty original.
