  • Only 4%of Indians have anything to do with ethnic relation with Pakistanis cause only the Punjabi people in Pakistan are somewhat related to the Indian Punjabis and plus i can tell the difference between Indian and a Pakistani and there is a big difference!

  • Agree with this video. However, some pakistanis are making some deluded comments on here such as "we are more persians and afghans than indians". The tribes/clans/castes in Punjab, Sindh & Azad Kashmir are the same with the ones in north India e.g. Jats, Rajputs, Gujjars etc. Whereas, the tribes in Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunwaha & FATA also live in Afghanistan and Iran, e.g. Afridis, Bugtis etc. So as you can see, we have a mixture of both, rather than one more than the other.

  • @B91FEG read prof ahmad hasan dani...google the man first to know his calibre.. you and me know nothing about it.. trace as to where gujjars, jats etc hail from... in the end hopefully you would find why hasan dani used to say we are more closer to central asia/persia more than we are to india.. and thx for ur comment :)

  • I am totally ok with pakistan being a country... If the people living in a place vote to be independent, then they have all their rights to be so...

I don't really think that you should be making videos trying to assert racist distinctions to prove that Pakistan is a country at heart. pak was not a part of India before independance. It was all a CONTROLLED BRITISH EAST INDIA and they were thrown out...

Pakistan decided to be a free nation and so did BANGLADESH... People have their right to fredm

  • Figuring out cultural and genetic differences b/w India-Pakistan is an easy task, similar thing can be done with any two states of India. India is known for its diversity in all terms, but can we deny the fact that Pakistan was once a part of India? I mean whats the point in finding differences and posting it here? Why don't we see the similarities and strive for everyones interest? Why don't we want to feel at home with each other?

I wish Pakistan a bright future and some brains to the haters

  • @guineatells I liked your whole comment... regarding the fact that Pakistan was a once a part of India, what if one says that India was once a part of Pakistan as the name India came from the Indus, which runs through Pakistan and not Bharat... I think Bharat is the constitutional name of India, correct me if I am wrong.... Winston churchill was right to say that India is now a geographical term.. and this geographical term can represent the whole of south asia...

  • @guineatells pakistan was a part of british india not hindu india.... and muslims were the rulers of india before britishers came... this quite clearly shows that pakistanis have very little in common with indians

  • I think this video is quite correct in its findings and interpretations. I love being dark skinned though. It helps me identify myself as an Indian in other countries and somehow I feel I am respected for that. South Indians are considered one of the smartest people in the world (I am a north Indian) and they are present in all reputed research institutes around the world including NASA. It pains me sometimes when I am mistaken as a Pakistani due to my fairer skin. I wish all of us were darker.

  • most of Pakistanis have Caucasian gene cuz many tribes invaded india as mercenaries. my tribe is niazi which is term as turko-afghan khan pathan but parent tribe is somewhere from central asia. nd they certainly have mixed with locals like niazis in afghanistan look like central asians like small eyes but in pakistan we have normal eyes like all pakistanis have .

  • I agree! Pakistan is different than India....its always been that way.

Regarding India though, even India was never united throughout history, it was full of small kingdoms. After all thats why its a Sub-continent, its not really a country.

But Pakistan is seperate from them all, we are more Persian and Afghan than Indian

  • @thegreatshah90 Always been different, maybe you are right, but how about 2000 years before islam how about then??

  • @thegreatshah90 we are neither persian nor afghan nor indian

  • contd

and australoids. australoids are not the same thing as negroids, and there are no negroids in south asia. dravidians are also caucasoid, and most indians are indo-aryan. There are some correct analysis in your video, but you exaggerate the differences based on unreliable sources and opinion pieces. I agree that pakistan is a distinct nation, but it was founded on the basis of religion, not ethnic/racial differences. You forget that india has more muslims than pak.

  • OH this music is from Pakistan in my childhood i saw commercial regarding Pakistan the music was there......... so touching

  • Let us think about the future of both the nations our people and the children and start developing confidence building measures at all levels... The politicians from both the countries for their self interests try to keep the hatred forever.. It is the educated youth should bring this awareness to the people of our nations and change this hatredness and bring peace in our region..Long live India and Pakistan with its glory forever!!!

  • I am an Indian. I am respecting Pakistan as a Nation with its own identity. We both together fought against independence from British. Now after the partition, we should have carried out the mutual respect to build both of our nations as a great power.. Somehow somewhere we developed hatred..If Kashmir is an issue, we should have restricted our differences with Kashmir only and not in any other relationships like trade, sports etc..

  • first of all, the indus valley civilization was a part of pre independence india.....and it will always be......

  • We Pakistani's,are not Middle-Eastern,but we're not Indian's either.

  • micalpark,

TY for uploading this! : ))

  • Well researched video showing significant differences between Pak and India.

  • Even after only a few thousand years of migration from Africa, indians are struggling to find a new identity...one false identity after another fabricated by indians as long as it's not African right?

  • After a few thousand years after migrating from Africa, indians are still struggling to find their own identity...

more futile attempt to show some identity...

  • Good to see something positive about Pakistan

  • Hey Bumene, you got few facts about India incorrect.

  • Miss bari.. see the point is, with due respect, i might disagree with u.. all i want to prove here is, that pakistan is a separate entity, the people of which have a heritage mostly from persians, central asia, arabs, turks and afghans.... in modern terms, they are mostly punjabi, pashtoon, balochi, sindhi and kashmiri.... yes we have many similarities with bordering regions of india but we are not one..

  • @micalpark

Bumene, you might disagree with me as much as you want. thats fine with me.

i agree with you that Pakistan is a seperate entity. i respect that. and whoever said anything about Pakistan and India being one?!!!

what i mentioned was that you got few facts about india incorrect (i.e. food and clothing habits to name the few).

  • @micalpark Right thats a great point except, Indus valley civilization has more in common with India. Seals with the bull on it (not for eating but respect). Also the civilization only flourished as long as the Saraswati was flowing. After the drying up of the Saraswati, the people living in those areas moved towards Ravi, Beas,Yamuna, Ganaga etc. So pointing out the area as separate is only true as long as there was a river in that area.

  • @micalpark : Well said; Indians try to ignore that for thousands of years the land mass and peoples of Pakistan have been part of different Kingdoms and Empires.

I have always maintained that India itself is phoney.

  • i'm not anti-indian, as this guy pramath might think but i want to say that, to promote peace, first you have to RECOGNISE the existence and difference of pakistan by heart.. and not promote in bollywood and indian media that there should have been no partition..

  • @micalpark Being an Indian i can guarantee that the partition will remain for ETERNITY, unless either one is conquered by the other, and this time around lets hope there is absolute brute force to end the matter once and for all at ANY cost. Na rahega baans na bajegi bansuri.

  • @micalpark change the video category to education

  • excellent documentary...we have much more in common with the iranians and afghans than we do with the indians...unfortunately alot of people are "jahil" of there roots...these documentaries help!!

  • I have nothing against Islamic.. 4 of my best and oldest friends from school are Muslims.. and even when I am at any airport.. I am taken for a Arab... Don't you think that instead of dividing on silly issues.. you should be Building bridges?? ... The world is of massive economies.. People appreciate India today because of it's size.. we are still a poor country... Don't you feel that Indo-Pak-B'desh should do an EU like Union instead of creating borders which are meaningless?

  • @pramathmalik1

Your facts about Kashmirs, Punjabis, Jinnah's definitions are wrong :)

Muslims in India are hardly 15 % whereas in Pak they are 97%. They've a geography, historcal lnkaged etc etc.

Jinnah rightly said, by all cannons of international law, we are a nation :)

  • you care to elaborate or do you mere repeat propoganda?

and on a personal level... my family is from the provinces of Multan & Jind.. we were ousted because we were Hindus.. and Muslims from all over India migrated into Pakistan.. does that explain why Pakistan is 97 % muslim and 15 % in India?

and as far as Geography and Historical linkages... I was not aware that Islam has historical linkage to Indus Valley Civilization.. to my knowledge.. Prophet Muhammad was born in 570 AD.

  • 3. India still has a higher population of Muslims living in India than the population of Pakistan.. are these people then not Indians? as India is a Hindu country by the definition of Jinnah?

    4. Is religion really a good way to divide a country? 5. Even as you move across India you will see a lightening of skin tone.. Kashmiris & Punabis are as fair , maybe even more than Pakistanis.. But then again.. Is skin color the basis of how a country's boundary should be set up?

  • 2. You have quoted too many averages.. did you look at standard deviations in India? By average every person on the planet has one breast and one testicle ... Is that how you characterize human beings to be.. Averages are a stupid way of looking at things

  • All in good spirit.. I do agree that there are differences.. but most of the ones you cited here are wrong..

    1. Pakistan as you said in the history or the Indus valley civilzation was in no way muslim and there original settlers were not of caucasoid genes. The world Indus in itself is a vulgarisation of Hindu
