I just tried the thickness in 2.5 but found it would not seal the split edges. But thankiyou so much for this and the others in the series, you are both doing a great job!

:-D Thanks. I made an attempt to make the cube walls thick and "solid", which would make the explision better, I think, but I failed somewhat.
Hope the explosion modifier will be improve, so that "thickness" or similar can be set as a parameter.
Version 2.5 can add thickness.
Great! Longing for it! And for a new comp. My current laptop's fan has given up. Mechanically, it appears...
