Fisher was really set up for catching it from all quarters when he left her for Elizabeth Taylor then was humiliated when Taylor dumped him for Burton. She was the cutest thing, and so talented. But she's had a tough life, she couldn't stop Eddie from leaving her but she never should have married Harry Karl--he gambled away all her millions. Debbie's autobiography is very interesting reading, she was in love with Robert Wagner in the early 1950s & I think remained in love with him even though they both married someone else. Debbie is one of the few remaining survivors of Old Hollywood.
