ALL RPM'S SHULD MAC OUT IN 3,000 RPMS+ i drift in real life and thats what u need. u need them for when u down shift. ull have more torque coming from the REAR WHEELs and the tires break traction. and the the low rpms are used for when u shift to the next gear which would include anything around the area of 4000 rpms nothing lower than that!
When you take the NFSU2 golf and drift with it, you will notice that it is very easy to control the sliding movements of the car (in NFSU2, you drift 1mill+ by continously sliding sideways, and Golf is more than fit for that particular requirement)

when you want a drift car:
o you need acceleration, not top speed
o you need ecu and turbo at the high rpm (you don't want to drift with 2000 rpm?!)
o AND YOU GOT A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CAR!!!
