Even though Md. Rafi remains my greatest favourite male singer of Hindi songs, I enjoy songs of others like - Talat, Hemant, Kishore, Mukesh, Mahendra Kapoor and Manna Dey too.

Like Mukesh, Talat was a beautiful person and acted as the hero in many movies. His soft song will remain forever etched in the memory of the Indian's psyche.

It was Naushad Ali who brought out the very best of Talat. But then, it was again the same Naushad who lifted Rafi to dizzy and unachievable heights.
