the word he said was "matón", which is Spanish, not Dutch. "matón" is used in reference to people who kills as a way of life, people who kills for any reason, real cold blood killers. Probably the reason why Patrick used that word is because is very commonly used when talking about mass murders executed by Mexican or Colombian drug cartels. Actually, if you pay attention when he says "matón" he tries to sound Hispanic. To me, when he said "matón" he sounded like Puerto Rican or Dominican or Cuban. He sounded very Caribean. Remember that Aruba is an island in the Caribean near to Venezuela and have a lot of contact with them. I suppose is not strange for them to talk to Spanish speaking people.

Also remember that he was involved in drug trafficking and probably had contact with some dealers.
