Their is no contradiction in the Quran. Abrogations (chap 2, verse 105) clearly states that any apparent contradiction is resolved by applying the last verse written.
And since chapter 9 was the last chapter written, it supersedes all other verses when verse 5 says "Kill unbelievers by any and every means available".
So, I'd sum up Islam via "Genocide of unbelievers". And as harsh as that sounds, thats pretty much what we see many muslims trying to do.

@berenjervin but it isn't. i've read the Quran my whole life. have you met religious christians and jews? the Torah, the Bible, and the Quran are all roots of the same origin. and it does not preach hate, or violence against unbelievers. it does however, to people who CONDEMN the religion. when you (anyone in general) condemn our religion, doesn't that give us the right to condemn you? and you should also look at other sections of the book. it doesn't ONLY preach what you think it does.

Their is no contradiction in the Quran. Abrogations (chap 2, verse 105) clearly states that any apparent contradiction is resolved by applying the last verse written.
And since chapter 9 was the last chapter written, it supersedes all other verses when verse 5 says "Kill unbelievers by any and every means available".
So, I'd sum up Islam via "Genocide of unbelievers". And as harsh as that sounds, thats pretty much what we see many muslims trying to do.
