you make this sound complicated.

how bout this

1. take the hook

2.thake the rubber thingey slide it over the hook and over the barb.

3.put the corkscrew eyelet on the hook.

4.put the other rubber thingey on and over the hook.

5 screw the minnow onto the corkscrew.

6. take the rubber band, run it up threw the eyelet of the hook then over the barb of the hook.

7. after casting the minnow jig it up and let it sink to the bootom (unless in weeded areas).

8. good luck on the water.

I was just watching a commercial for these today. they show it being hooked up at the very front by the lips. So it acts like a real fish. The way you show seems like it defeats how it is supposed to work. I haven't ordered a set yet but am planning to give them a shot. Thanks for the tips

i bought the whole set fished with them for hours at a local lake, and didnt get as much as a single hit. i switched of to a yum dinger and caught a 3 pounder on the second cast and continued to catch fish on it all day. the misspellings were typos

Rig it up according to the instructions (a little different but not difficult). Use quick, jerky movements to make the minnow mimic an injured or dying fish. Never use a straight retrieve. I'll often use patternes of 2 or 3 quick jerks and then let it die. Bass, Walleye, Pike and Muskie hit them all the time.  I love the Banjo minnow.
