I don’t understand two things : 1) the air funs inside the car never change since the invention of the first car its always black vertical plastic air funs one on the right and one on the left of the driver.
2) all motorcycle are made for people 6feet and higher ,if your less 6feet you can never touch the ground with both feet and this for all motorcycles.
I love Lincoln's and I know Ford owns Volvo and all, but I HATE how Lincoln has so much Volvo wannabe things in it. The attempt at an open space behind the dash like on Volvo, the "collision warning" like Volvo's city safety. And that's just two, it continues. It's getting ridiculous.
Actually you are very wrong, Ford owns both Volvo, and Lincoln, and when cars owned by Ford are created, they are usually taken from parts of other cars. Hence the platforms ford's vehicles are made from.
That's not true. Ford makes their own parts and, most of their own platforms. The only thing that, Ford maybe uses from Volvo is, their saftey features and, I think Ford is still using Volvo's S80 platform for the new Taurus/Sable and, MKS. Everything else is absolutely original.
Nope! Not really. You said, Lincoln attempted to make a open space behind the dash(in which, I don't see)and, you also said, the copying of Volvo's features continues. Now..., what parts and, fetures in particular? I don't know and, definitely don't see! You made it sound as if, Lincoln just completely copied of Volvo...in which, is something that, Lincoln definitely dosen't need to do. If you ask me...I'd say, Volvo's designers need to put in some overtime!
I've seen the car in person in NYC so I know about the open space which has been a very exclusive Volvo design, and now Lincoln has it, and they haven't "completely" copied Volvo. I am saying they are trying to. With the collision detection to help stop the car incase of an accident, yeah very reminiscent of Volvo's city safety if you ask me, and it's all way to convenient that both are owned by Ford. Give it up already damn. Dont respond.
In what Lincoln vehicle does, it have a open space behind the console...because, I haven't seen it yet(old vehicles or, new). Also..., in what Volvo vehicle does it have stopping assist from 2007 and, down...because, I only heard of Lincoln having it first, in Ford owned divisions.
Can cost $55,000 for the high end Lincoln. - That's a lot of money for a car, that loses value every year you own it. Paying this car off, is like paying down a mortgage.
jeeze... the mks is a sweet car but this thing is just straight up fugly. hardly looks like its based on the edge platform (the mkx is also) the back needs a little work. I really hope they still make a few changes before production, but i doubt it. :-/

I just wish Lincoln didn't add the cheap looking plastic at the bottom of the exterior. It would look so much better.
tyIerz06 3 years ago
I could agree with that(and, that's coming from a Linc. man)! ;-)`
BklynJayL 2 years ago
i think there is an option to get that pannel in body colour

I would guess so.

Please say the rear fiasca will be improved. It looks like a lugged down bus back there.
