its because of ppl like steve that the army doesnt have its own helicopters, it is because of ppl like steve that the CF is forced to drive on the ground,it is because of ppl like steve those soldiers are vulnerable to road side bombs. it is ppl like steve who are complaining about deaths, but dont want to do anything to prevent them. becuase those deaths help fuel steves cause, wich is the ultimate disarmament of canada

Last night's TV News had pix of the local peasants demonstrating outside the gates of the base at the airfield yelling "DEATH TO THE CANADIANS" because of the increasing numbers of innocent civilians being killed by the NATO TROOPS! This after 6 years of this war.

So what? It made a great photo op. I'm sure by now, you've heard that a poll of Afghani's has found that the majority of them do not want NATO to leave; and they do not want the Taliban option. The middle ground of these two extremes - a self governing Afghanistan, will take time, and unfortunetly more casualties, until they can keep the extremists out. Resulting in a safer region/world.
