My brother and I also acquired recentely an Honda RS 250 1997 model, we'll rebuild/paint it and do some Trackdays with it.
From the video I can assume the bike is fun as hell.

our rider was still learning his way round the circuit at the time,
we hadn't got the bike set up right yet, in the video the gearing was wrong and it was jetted 3 sizes too rich!
the biggest improvement came with the lines though.
