How do you expect to have more houston police on the streets when mayor bill white cut the police pension, refuses to give the police a raise, and continues to deny that the houston police are underpayed? It's no wonder houston crime is going up, bill white works for the criminals not the law abiding citizens of houston.

I agree that law enforcement is underpaid. Heck I'm a Paramedic and could get a raise working at Walmart. It doesn't help with Bill Whites policies leaning more toward a Sanctuary City. Most of the Houston Police are afraid to cuff and stuff an illegal. They pretty much have to have done something really bad. And don't even mention giving them to ICE.
