  • damn I love moonlight sonata!!!! wanna die with this

  • This song descibes my soul and how lonely i feel.It show how my soul is bound by fear, hate, loneliest, saddness, and rejection.I lost hope for future as young people today are so mean towrds each other that its not even funny. Why must i linger in this pain. Why can i not be happy for once in my life without worry and saddness.

  • look at all the ghost orbs in the pic at .22!!!!!

  • @morrison75100

Dust, these places have been left alone for years. Or it could also be (but I doubt) a dirty camera lens.

  • ^^ *.* <3

  • I feel so sorry for all the patients that did not get the compassionate help that they truly deserved. How very sad!

  • One thing to say ,,,, AWESOME

  • you have to admit , the architecture is beautiful. all the trim work, windows, stonework, etc. cool video, awesome job!!

  • it is so beutiful

  • fabulous music...moonlight sonata,one of my favs :)

  • these are creepy pictures for dramatic effects . theyre not real pictures from a psychiatric hospital . this is such a twisted way of looking at it . theyre supposed to be used for help , not to be seen as freaks .

  • @afunnychick Unfortunately in the late 1800's and up until the 1960's, if you had problems, mental or physical, you were bought to a hospital and often shunned by your family. In the earlier years, many patients that entered these hospitals, died there. Treatments were inhumane and often done without patient consent. These treatments included drug therapy (later on), restraint, electro shock treatment and lobotomy.

  • @shortarsejo Yes, indeed, the time is not long gone when quite a percentage of the mental hospital patients came to stay forever and the psychiatrists made no bones about it. Which is still maintaining injustified fears today, when there are hardly (officially - no) permanent residents of mental wards any more.

  • @afunnychick @afunnychick BTW, these pics are all REAL. The person who took them, Mr. Motts, has a way with photography :)

  • one word: creepy

  • good thing we got bat man

  • I'm actually working on another video right now depicting Norwich State Hospital. Just trying to find music :)

  • This is actually a bunch of places that I love, places that I have found eerie and would best describe life inside for an inmate. I can't remember exactly but I believe norwich state does make it in there somewhere. The main hospital on display here tho is Danvers.

  • is this the norwich hospital??

  • where is this place?

  • Great job on the video! Love it! Insane asylums are full of mystery. So much went on in them, and I'm sure we don't know the half of it.

  • Now that I have my desktop back up and running, I may start work on another video.

  • You have given Mr Motts pics justice my friend! I had the pleasure of going inside Danvers State when it was open. And years later in the main building when it was closed. Kind of a coin toss on what was more scarier, open for business, or closed down and slowly rotting away. Thank you again for the great video I totally enjoyed it.

  • @LarsonsMom Glad that you enjoyed it :) Lucky you, I wish I had gotten go to inside Danvers before they tore it down. I've watched the movie session nine, with David Caruso (Of CSI:Miami fame) which was filmed there and found it quite creepy. Actually when the movie was done, they left a lot of things right where they had put them, I.E. the suits in the tunnel and the chair.

  • dude, im gonna have nightmares. in the nicest way possible of course 8p

  • One of the most beautiful montages I've seen...this is all taken from Motts, right? (opacity). There is noone like Motts taking pictures of these places...he has the skill and the mind to take some of the most emotionally revealing parts of these places and place them on film....its an eerie gift. Thanks for placing it to the great Beethoven Sonata....unforgettable.

  • @vgoth100 Thank you! Yes, I believe all this pictures are Motts, from Opacity. He is an amazing photographer and inspired me to do this montage in the first place.

It took me a while to find the right music without infringing on anything and having the effect I wanted.

  • holy shit I think the asylum would get me insane

  • @kungfuninja55 amen brutha, it gives me the creeps

  • Cane Hill! So glad to see you again ; )

  • Beautiful....just beautiful

  • looks like a really nice place to live. lol the only thing insane is the music! a little eerie for me

  • The music is a classic! Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

  • possibly greatest song ever haha

  • @shortarsejo hell yeah

  • Bloodbath, didn't you make that exact same comment about one of my video's before? lol.

I hope I've captured it so it will make you think, give you chills, and also show it's beauty.

  • wouldnt want to go there at night

  • very interesting.
