  • Every one who likes this track -> go buy the ZerOne LP!!! the best Album (side) PH ever did!!! Four uplifting trax, the other side is hmmhmm 80s HipHop...;)

  • wish it was in sterio.this is like in a rain forest with a fire bruning.

  • Aw man this shit is SLAMMIN to the max

  • Paul Hardcastle is just timeless, and one of my biggest influence. I have the cassette (Rain Forest) and put it on CD and took out the analog hiss so I can play it over and over. This album is incredible from Start to finish without fillers!

  • The american Jean Michel Jarre but much better and more funky!!

  • Wow. Mr. Hardcastle. This album is sooo tuff to come about. It meant much to me growing up in tha 80s.

  • ive got this on the zero zero album, well ahead of its time and as good as anything coming out of usa at the time in my opinion

  • Zero One album?

  • @flake99please

    from the Rain Forest album.

  • @castlevania78

Was also on the A-side of Zero One. Universal Funk had the B-side at the time. Saw the revised track listings on iTunes recently. :)

  • @flake99please

ordered a turntable just to listen to the Rain Forest album (found a mint copy on ebay for about $7. Now I gotta find more! lol

  • @castlevania78

  • I like that baby crying in the background

  • first bit quite similar rockit (herbie hancock) great song i think hes using a moog in there aswell..great stuff!

  • never thought about Herbie's track but yea it does sorta.

  • early scratching. gotta love it

  • First Light with Derek Green..now I'm showing my age. Paul Hardcastle, North London Bluenose, Top man!

  • i know of many who can C O M P O S E B E T T E R than p a u l h a r d c a s t l e J U A N A T K I N S D E R R I C K M A Y C A R L C R A I G M A R T I N B O N D S and the list goes on and on this doesn't make paul hardcastle's compositions less B E A U T I F U L it just boils down to the fact that people have different preferences as to what they consider to be a better execution or delivery of a beautiful composed arrangment of sound

  • this is 1985 , the only person you mentined who was putting out music then was atkins , so i think youre being a bit unfair = still couldnt touch kraftwerks computer world from 1981 though , music like life , all about different opinions

    = bjk

  • i just realised the scratch is part of the end of fab five freddys change the beat and wonder who scratched for paul as i think it told who on the back of the rainforest album.

  • kai..see radio rivers revisited...this was a smash radio staple back in the day in PH.Keep it coming.
