Jeff with his Tremolo-Arm thing he is doing now for years and years is meanwhile really going on my nervs. Why can`t he just play a straight good rock guitar. Every solo of his nowadays sounds the same. Jeff, it is enough. Play some rock music. We all know that you can do the vibrato thing over and over all day long.

The only classical musician who can cross boundaries like this....that would be Jean-Luc Ponty. Nigel is good, but he can't hold a candle to Jean-Luc when JLP was in his prime. Try Trans-Love Express, New Country and Egocentric Molecules.

@StellaFan1 There are lots of classical musicians who have crossed this boundary, and have done so far better than Nigel Kennedy. Jon Lord, Rick Wakeman and Amy Lee and are just a few such examples

As classical violinists go, Kennedy is OK, but I much prefer people like Hilary Hahn, Julia Fischer and Itzhak Perlman - no gimmicks but just pure musical genius. Kennedy's "The Sid Vicious of classical music" image may have had some novelty value once, but the novelty has long worn off for me now.
