All of you making comments on cover 2 have no imagination. There is more than one way to run cover 2, and I developed one that the pros happened to be using. Remember, cover 2 is a particular coverage, but it can be tweaked to create a whole new way of stopping the run without being traditional. Stop being simpletons and think outside the box. This goes for all coverages. Be fundamentally sound and imaginative, things will work!
Hey coaching gurus, this is another way to support the run. The safety actually becomes more of a fill where needed on the run. Corner still maintains outside leverage on the ball carrier.
I have looked at 10 videos of cover 2 on here and the response is always the same. People on here state that the guy making the video is completely wrong. So where can I find the correct way to run a cover 2. I am a new coach.
