If you must use something, try an analog delay next time, with a VERY fast setting to the point where you can barely hear it, and then set the mix, so that the dry signal is about 80% to 90%... don't forget the reverb from the room is already pretty washy. If you get it done, pm me. I would like to hear.
Metal tone sounds pretty good. Unfortunately, the room sound with the reverb is all TOO fucking washed out... :( Did you play this pretty loud? If you can't record with a shure 57 or better a beyerdynamic m88 (pricy but worth it). 3-6inches from the grill and rock out. Don't use reverb.
