In 1958 or 1959 in the DC area I saw the following and have remembered it all these years. Wilkins and Wontkins are strung together and climbing a mountain when Wilkins turns around to Wontkins and says "Did you bring the Wilkins Coffee?

When Wontkins says, "No", quick as a wink, Wilkins cuts the rope and as Wontkins drops off the mountain, Wilkins says, "Don't forget the the Wilkins Coffee when you come back up!".

It's the best commercial I ever saw.
