@Duodecimvultures I agree with what you say, in the sense that all the West can be proud of their Roman origin (very important), but the video to make people believe that Italians are Romans, and the French, as Gauls! there are many French are descended from Roman (Italic), but not Italian!

@LaSombraFantasma Wherever they dominate, the Romans sent out permanent garrisons of legionaries, not counting large number of colonists so, we can reasonably think that it's possible to find direct descendants of the ancient Romans in many modern countries that were once "Rome"...here too, obviously...especially here, since Italy was their homeland.
