  • omg i was on that plane :D

  • If the pilots were real men, they'd depend on their skills to take a iced aircraft off like the fine pilots of Air Florida flt 92 out of DCA. .... Just kidding. I love to sit windowseat but the glycol always causes the window to become gunked up. I remember when I was a kid in the late 70's seeing the glycol streak across he windows on take off roll thinking it was hydraulic oil.

  • People underestimate the epicness of aviation. You're sitting in a chair, 40000 ft. in the air for gods sakes! How cool can it get?! :D

  • i don't understand the point of the vid...

  • Really nice video! ^^, I subscribed and faved. Were the window blurry the whole flight? Well atleast, I hope you will be able to add more flight videos aswell. Thanks for this one.

  • Yay, my first received YouTube comment! And a positive one at that. :)

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's actually the first flight video I've ever recorded. I'm definitely going to post more videos here, but not just aviation-related stuff.

  • No problem, but could you answer my question? ;) - Were the window blurry the whole flight, after the De-Icing?

  • I remember it being blurry during take-off, but I guess the blurriness wore off when we were at cruising altitude. Of course, it was very cloudy and pretty dark, so there wasn't much too see (and record) anyway. I did notice that although it was pitch-black when we took off (as you can see in the video), the clear sky was somewhat lighter once we were above the clouds and I could still see the faint glow of dusk on the horizon .
