Leman Russ is the biggest badass ever. He's a superhuman space viking who climbed out of a volcano as an infant, was raised by wolves the size of horses, became a badass tribal leader, beat space Jesus at eating and drinking contests, shrugged off a power fist to the face, fought another primarch for a whole week, and may or may not be fighting his way through Hell at the moment.

His gene seed has mutated, was knocked out by a power fist, resisted the Emperor where others had kneeled, is probably dead, and hated the Thousand Sons because their primarch had magical powers. The reason why he attacked prospero (Thousand Sons homeworld) was because Magnus had used psychic powers to try and get to the Emperor quicker, so as to warn him of Horus. Slightly random.

@CaptainAWESOME117 Leman Russ didn't just hate the thousand sons cause they had magical powers. The Thousand sons gene-seed also mutated and caused a flesh change in the thousand sons marines which turned them into incredibly powerful beast, much like the Wulfen for the space wolves but much more dangerous. Also on Pheonix Crag, the thousand sons tried to stand between the space wolves and their objective, and drew first blood in a small squirmish between the two armies.

@kinggarfieldthethird First, what's a small squirmish? Second, the Thousand Sons are the perfect killing machines. I may be saying this because I play with at least one squad in my army at all times, but when it comes to space marines, there's no finer killer. As aposed to the space wolves, who send their recruits forward like cannon fodder. Anyway, the Thousand Sons tried to help, and were in turn, killed by those they tried to help. IRONY!

@CaptainAWESOME117 haha i'm not dissin the thousand sons, they are beasts too. i was just saying that they weren't exactly sinless in the eyes of the Emperor. and it was a small fight, i just didn't find another word to describe it. and another thing is when magnus went to the Emperor he destroyed a bunch of Terra's defenses and put terra at risk.

There are rarely silent letters in Scandinavian (or at least Swedish) names, I can't think of any at the moment, truth be told, and never, ever would the letter B be silent in a Swedish name. Bjorn would be pronounced like that, and as a fun fact, means "bear" in Swedish.

Black Templar are still the most BADASS. They also out number every other chapter. For They are the sons of Rogal Dorn. The Space Wolves are probably the only chapter that disobeys the codex astartes more than the Black Templar. They have the coolest name, primarch, founding legion, symbol, battlecry, and history. They are also more loyal to the Emperor than most other chapters. Black Templars are just FREAKIN AWESOME

Oh and I agree, it is pronounces Byorn, it means Bear (Bjorn original name) I don't recall Bjorn fighting alongside the emporer, he is still young in prospero burns, I don't think he was a space wolf until after Ullanor and the space wolves did not fight alongside the emporer for a long time before Ullanor.

@minman41 leman russ vanished into the warp hearing about the seeds of life from a special tree he left to find the seeds for the emperor(who had just been wounded) and was never seen again although before he left he claimed he would return before the end of days to fight in the final battle beetween good and evil .as for the emporers children i belive they still live but the are traitorous and thus reside in the warp correct me if im wrong someone XD

@minman41 i dont know bout the blood angels apart from tthey survived the dark angels split into 2 forces in the hearsey imperium and anti imperium when the primarch retuned to his home planet he found it barricaded against him so he destroyed it but some of those who were on the planet survived and dispanded the dark angels now consider themselves unforgiven by the emporer until they retrive those who escaped called the fallen and make them confess their sins
