  • best song on the cd

  • best ooo ooo ooooo in music

  • love!

  • How can we ever evolve, when our gods are so primitive

  • Omg, is that Dottie or Nina?

  • @Ienjoitacos actually, Janelle Monae

  • Aren't you sick of the con? Not quite home and loneliness.

They're expecting so little... Can't feel the miracle.

There's zombies licking your window, for black body radiation ...

  • Gets good at 0:00, buddy.

  • Gets good at 0:29

  • @Prounounced Noob, forgot the other 29 seconds? Especially the zombie licking windows for black body radiation.

  • Chickens are relevent.

  • The female vocals are Janelle Monae.

  • @MansaBC she is awesome! Last time I saw these guys she played first and it was sick. Super awesome show.

  • so much sex in this song, my girl and i can't keep off each other when this plays

  • hope for looove... oooooooh ooh ooh...

  • Let's all get high and watch Battlestar with Kevin Barnes.

  • @fmstack hahah amazing

  • How can we ever evolve when our gods are so primitive?

They destroy our hope for peace.

  • This song, man...

  • Aren't you sick of the con?

    Not quite home and loneliness...

    They're expecting... So little.

    Can't feel the miracle.

... You know? My heart hits a high note when I hear the words "Everything's born in shame, it's not just me".

I feel... Hate and love. And sadness.

  • i like the "particle wave duality" and "there are zombies licking your window" part. ;)

    cute song.

  • am i the only one whose favorite part in this song is the part where the instruments quiet down and you just hear kevin barnes' voice with the delay effect? the moment when he says "fractious heart" it sent a legitimate shiver down my spine.

  • @1Lottery Janelle is a goddess

  • This song is most definitely about religion "how can we ever evolve, when our gods are so primitive?"

"they destroy the hope for peace, the hope for love"

religions build more barriers between people, rather than bringing them closer to each other.

  • talk about a revolutionary song!!!

  • the female is Janelle Monae

  • about 400 of the 21,490 hits are me. =)

  • this song i think is how he is admitting imperfection

  • @erwin687 no. this song is about his views on religion and how unreal it is. he told me so at the show in boston in september.

  • @TSOAFrules13 that would make since ha is he a nice guy i would like to meet him someday ha

  • this is what happened after "Hello From Inside the Shell" if you take both songs about Zombies

  • @Khasar Gosh, you're funny.

  • @MrFarvis ?

  • @Khasar It sounds like a big collab with Matt & Kim, MGMT and Of Montreal. WHOA. That needs to happen. /dreams forever

  • "Love breaks the machine...." gosh this song is so beautiful.

  • This is my favorite song off the album as well. I just saw of Montreal/Janelle Monae live earlier this week and was shocked that they didn't do this song, especially considering Janelle was there. Still an incredible show all around.

  • Go head Mother Jane!

  • I LOVE the piano runs during the chorus... It's just so nice =)

  • Janelle is so cool, but cant ever touch Kevin Barnes. He is a true genius.

  • so lovely and nice! :)

  • I was super stoked on this song when Kevin uploaded his stripped down piano version. I like that style better :\

  • @freestyledog1 i totally agree. it was so much more beautiful before! i mean this version is nice and all, but i like the piano version. its the equivalent of john lennon taking imagine and making it all funky and electronic. lol. i guess the original version is usually always better

  • @xjackass420x i think i just want another cherry peel...whatever

  • this is god. i think god made this. theres no way humans made this, it had to be god

  • @FunAndOnly
