I personally could never take the Ultimate Warrior seriously (especially not after reading that trippy comic he released a couple years later; nor his "queering doesn't work" comment even more years later) but as an old wrestling fan I got a bit sentimental seeing this guy meet his hero. If you grew up watching pro wrestling as a kid then these guys were your "real life" Superman and Spiderman. Hell, if I ever got a chance to meet Undertaker I'd probably be reduced to a blubbering pile of goo XD

I just had to come here and see this to believe it after all the stories I've heard about Warrior. From what I read, and I've seen this at countless sources, Warrior was a coward and a disgrace as a Champion. One time, there was a dying kid outside his dressing room who's request was to meet Warrior, and Warrior came out and walked right past him knowing about the kid.

what you have to understand is, back when i was a kid, Warrior was a superhero. he didnt go on tv and talk about "his latest movie" like wrestlers do today. we never saw his guy out of character ever. that's why none-smart marks or people who grew up watching him have alot of fond memories of him. he was such a cool character.
he gets a fee from the promoters, and the fans pay to buy a ticket to get in and get there autographs. there isnt any money being exchanged by the fan and warrior. he gets his money from the promoters.
Man I got a little teary eyed watching that. It's really cool seeing someone get to meet their idol. Must be rough for Warrior which meeting so many people like that. The price of fame I guess.
Its wonderful to see a fan get satisfaction when they finally meet their idol. And their idol SHOW RESPECT to their fans. I know from personal experience the disapointment in meeting someone you look up too and it blows big time. A lot of former wrestlers have bad-mouthed the Warrior for years. Bret Hart in particular claimed Warrior treated his fans like shit. But this video does not lie. Warrior is obviously very kind, personable, and generous with his fans. This is the Warrior that those other WWE wrestlers never saw...because they never took the time to get to know him.

what you have to understand is, back when i was a kid, Warrior was a superhero. he didnt go on tv and talk about "his latest movie" like wrestlers do today. we never saw his guy out of character ever. that's why none-smart marks or people who grew up watching him have alot of fond memories of him. he was such a cool character.

he gets a fee from the promoters, and the fans pay to buy a ticket to get in and get there autographs. there isnt any money being exchanged by the fan and warrior. he gets his money from the promoters.

I know from personal experience the disapointment in meeting someone you look up too and it blows big time.
