i dont see how the ff characters can be seen as unfair fighters by relying on abilities cuz the doa side use powers too

I think I see what you're saying, though I still disagree. While what you're saying applies to some DoA characters, out of the one's used in DF, only Ayane really fits that criteria. Even then, she seemed to have grown out of that mentality in DoA3.

I'm an FF fans, so I rather liked the cheering and hearing the audience vocalize what I was thinking in my mind. From a 3rd person perspective though, I can see how excessive cheering might annoy DoA fans. The majority of the people in there were CLEARLY FF-fans.
I'm a big Final Fantasy fan and don't even own a game by Namco(Blame them making their games Xbox exclusive. well the newer ones.) I don't care if Mouty Oum might come off as Final Fantasy favoritism at times. But the fans are extremely annoying and ruin it for me.

I must say that I am a big fan of his work and I like what he did with the continuation of the series BUT I think it is highly UNFAIR that he displays a better relationship with the FF crew and not the DOA crew. DF2 Rinoa got waved high at by her team and in DF5 Tifa and Cloud are having there empathetic moments. Well what about Hitomi and Hayate they know each other... or Ayane and Kasumi for DF2. He has got to start showing that he like DOA as much as FF! But I still love the finished product!
In DF2, Ayane brushes Kasumi's hand off of her shoulder righter after they get blasted by Yuna's Scattershot attack, but that's it. Oh well. Final Fantasy is better, anyways.

Cloud and Hayate were totally unnecessary. Complete fanservice. Poster boys stealing the spotlight (like they always do) from the chicks.
Anyone else think Yuna's summoning bit was too short and lacking the usual surprises expected of Monty? Where's a Leviathan/Tidus summon? Where's a Terra esper summon? Where's Yuna flying around on Valefor? I mean, throwing Cloud into everything FF only works so many times before people realize it'll just be the same crap again and again...
I felt that the whole sequence was fine. Not to mention, this scene was also incomplete. Yuna's summoning was unexpected and exciting. I believe it would've been too much of her to summon every blasted thing you mention. This scene was full of surprises and excitement, as you can hear from the audience.
Go do better, or watch something else if you think otherwise.
The song was too short so blame that. And I believe Yuna can only summon what was in FFX. Yuna flying on Valefor when she was on the ground to begin with, and she would have been hit too from one of Kasumi's Ninpo blast. Yuna would have been hacked and slashed at if Cloud did not save her. Yuna was exhausted after summoning too much.
Well, it is unfinished. There's probably a lot of things that Monty left out. The summoning bits are most likely a lot longer than what they appear. There might even be an Anima, Magus Sisters, or Yojimbo summon, too.
i feel you, brother/sister/whatever.... No matter how powerful the chicks are, it'll always be the guys who'll steal the credit... it's just... not fair. Look at the girls from FF: FFVII Aerith-ancestor of ancient, has the power to communicate with the planet, FFVIII-Rinoa-the last Sorceress, has the power of Ultimecia and Edea. FFX Yuna-High Summoner, Conjurer.... IF they would've been evil, they'll be so powerful.

Well, the majority of non mean-spirited FF fans don't usually reply to youtube posts I guess :P
And well, Sephiroth is like a God to me, but Ryu is cool too. I like ninjas, I like japanese swords so it's only natural for me to think he is cool too ^^

@darkhanum i think when they add sephiroth they should put him agianst the most powerful doa char. they have,which might be ryu but who knows..but 10 ninjas is NOT going to be a fight for sephy lol

I must say that I am a big fan of his work and I like what he did with the continuation of the series BUT I think it is highly UNFAIR that he displays a better relationship with the FF crew and not the DOA crew. DF2 Rinoa got waved high at by her team and in DF5 Tifa and Cloud are having there empathetic moments. Well what about Hitomi and Hayate they know each other... or Ayane and Kasumi for DF2. He has got to start showing that he like DOA as much as FF! But I still love the finished product!

In DF2, Ayane brushes Kasumi's hand off of her shoulder righter after they get blasted by Yuna's Scattershot attack, but that's it. Oh well. Final Fantasy is better, anyways.

Okay ummm I mentioned what Ayane did to Kasumi very long ago when DFII first premiered. Also your right OH WELL! You may believe that FF is better but my opinion is TOTALLY different. I find it so funny how FF fans (NOT ALL OF YOU) think that their characters are the BEST when it seriously is not the case. Dead or Alive will always be my first choice, Hitomi scraped her with pure skill like Tifa scraped them in DFII. Being apart of the minority for DOA rules. GO KASUMI!

well wasnt really a dream, more like a flashback cuz she woke up from the first ep. XD and then she got up again. That part made me SCREAM XD cloud wass reachin for her like ahhh!!

I know its so sad i love Tifa And Hitomi..the preview of there fight was wayyyyyyyy better than what i thought..cuz it seemed one sided in DF2 but monty oum is smart he wants us to think that..so he can surprise us

i know, i think theirs is the best XD i like hitomi and tifa my favorite. they had to use the best people against each other. i still think that Tifa might of got capture now or Aerith and Zack is coming. god , cloud needs to save tifa (Flashback & cloti fan XD) i respect the Monty. He made it very dramatic which i like. now we gotta wait 2 more month 2 see the full 1. But i dont want 2 see Tifa die! In the end though, they all are gonna reunited or work together 2 beat the villians XD

@Tamberifa no that was rinoa talking to tifa,tifa didnt want to go but trusted rinoa and went to fight..rinoa is the one who sent the feather as an invite..could knew nothing of this till tifa fell

Cloud and Hayate were totally unnecessary. Complete fanservice. Poster boys stealing the spotlight (like they always do) from the chicks.
Anyone else think Yuna's summoning bit was too short and lacking the usual surprises expected of Monty? Where's a Leviathan/Tidus summon? Where's a Terra esper summon? Where's Yuna flying around on Valefor? I mean, throwing Cloud into everything FF only works so many times before people realize it'll just be the same crap again and again...

I felt that the whole sequence was fine. Not to mention, this scene was also incomplete. Yuna's summoning was unexpected and exciting. I believe it would've been too much of her to summon every blasted thing you mention. This scene was full of surprises and excitement, as you can hear from the audience.
Go do better, or watch something else if you think otherwise.

The song was too short so blame that. And I believe Yuna can only summon what was in FFX. Yuna flying on Valefor when she was on the ground to begin with, and she would have been hit too from one of Kasumi's Ninpo blast. Yuna would have been hacked and slashed at if Cloud did not save her. Yuna was exhausted after summoning too much.

Well, it is unfinished. There's probably a lot of things that Monty left out. The summoning bits are most likely a lot longer than what they appear. There might even be an Anima, Magus Sisters, or Yojimbo summon, too.

i feel you, brother/sister/whatever.... No matter how powerful the chicks are, it'll always be the guys who'll steal the credit... it's just... not fair. Look at the girls from FF: FFVII Aerith-ancestor of ancient, has the power to communicate with the planet, FFVIII-Rinoa-the last Sorceress, has the power of Ultimecia and Edea. FFX Yuna-High Summoner, Conjurer.... IF they would've been evil, they'll be so powerful.

Kinda looks like it's going that way. Tifa falls before Hayate, maybe Kasumi will fall before Cloud, and then Hayate and Cloud will fight?
Although it kinda looks like the Kasumi clones just took over. It's almost like the DOA girls are getting phased out. I hope Kasumi and Hitomi aren't gone for good. I doubt they are.
Damn Kasumi clones though. I was kinda hoping Kasumi and Yuna would actually team up to fight them.
