miley auditioned for hannah montana when she was 12 for the part of lily but the producers thought she was 2 young and tiny for any of the roles & miley really wanted a part and was determined to get it she told them she will b willin 2 fly herself back out 4 another audition&pick upthe bill. so she got the part because of her strong motivation and the producers finally agreed she would be perfect for HANNAH so that is how she got the part it is right from a magazine miley herself said it! :D <3
