They can last up to 450hp before sleeving im stock rebuilding a B18A1 for turbo cause it has 165K its going into my 1st build a 95 DC4 RS shell can't wait any pointers im looking for 320 to 350hp but BC valvetrain though and blox IM and 70mm TB.

Big difference between 303 WHP and 190 WHP, which I dont understand how you reached 190 in a GSR with basic bolt ons but whatever. I mean no offense with this comment BTW.
@94dc2gsr They push 170 BHP, the only way a GSR might put down 190 WHP off of bolt ons is if you have high quality bolt ons and maybe a really good tune. Even then I still dont see a GSR getting to the 190 WHP mark. Also buying all those high quality pricey bolt ons would be dumb because for the money you would spend getting them you could of just got some pretty good cams and a tune which would of deff got you to 190 WHP. Our engines dont get crazy HP gains from bolt ons. V8s do but they suck:)

@NizzBomb69 Charge piping. You're talking about the stuff that looks like tin foil? It's an insulator around the charge piping to keep intake temperatures down. Charge piping is what connects the turbo to the intercooler and the intercooler to the throttle body.
It didn't blow up or anything I just wanted more power. The compression was still great before i put the internals. Drink your haterade somewhere else

@CoolbreezeX82X you know out of the factory b18b1 motors came with a compression ration around 9:1 right? now if he was around 10:5:1 then that may be an issue. The b18b1 motors handle boost very well and are known to be good up to like 320whp, so i dont doubt this guy one bit. Nice car man!

What matters most is having a proper tune, the motor has proper compression, and do proper maintenance with your turbo setup and constantly check oil levels, A/F ratio's, make sure the safety parameters work, proper boost levels, etc.

@WeHaveSteeze No rebuilding of the engine was done. It was 3k for the custom turbo kit which I ordered every piece and built every piece myself. Instead of paying someone to do all this I just learned it (for free) and then did it myself.

@tylerpoole14 300 is pretty common on dsm's. I made 314/380 tq on stock ls turbo with just dsm's and a walbro 255lph. I had a buddy with a built b16 that made 365whp befor his dsm's were maxxed out (fuel pressure was cranked way up)
its not hard to do this, my buddys got a hatch that he ls swapped. he made 314 on a completely bone stock obd1 ls with a t3t4 hybrid turbo runnin 18psi. you put it on a gsr tranny and it makes a siccombo. now he has a fully built ls and fully builet tranny, he has added all the goodies to compete in the sportsman class. he is aiming to layout the biggest numbers ever layed out with a non vtec ls motor. if anyone has ?s on ls stuff hit me up, i got the recipe.

Yeah it was just fine for 20k miles before I replaced the internals with forged stuff, but it still had great compression to the last day. Get a good tune, and I mean GOOOOD, and don't abuse it everyday, just on the weekends and it'll be fine.
No, you can see at 0:12 and 0:13 that he has an aftermarket clutch disc and pressure plate. Its the big red thing on the engine. But i can see why you think its auto, on the tachometer hes got the line where it usually says what gear ur in for auto integras. But i think it was an auto but he did a conversion to change it to manual

I know its not a automatic but if it was, will a upgrade torque converter ,new aftermarket tranny cooler with carbon secros coated tranny hold up aganist turbo or any powerful upgrade-shift kit

right i understAND.ITS JUST THAT IV SEEN well really heard GUYS HERE ON YOUTUBE BOOST AUTOMATICS AND THEY SAY THIS IS WHAT THEY DO. i GUESS THEy LIKE THE REALBILTY OF AN AUTO WHICH IS UNDERSTANDING IN HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS BUT THEY LOVE BOOST ALSO..its just diffrent i guess muscle heads have automatics for the track,I just wonder if it can be done with imports like integras..im intrested to see if it works.

@tylerpoole14 300 is pretty common on dsm's. I made 314/380 tq on stock ls turbo with just dsm's and a walbro 255lph. I had a buddy with a built b16 that made 365whp befor his dsm's were maxxed out (fuel pressure was cranked way up)

Just water. It was a failed experiment to lower temps. You need to vaporize the water so it evaporates from the intercooler with the heat it soaks up

its not hard to do this, my buddys got a hatch that he ls swapped. he made 314 on a completely bone stock obd1 ls with a t3t4 hybrid turbo runnin 18psi. you put it on a gsr tranny and it makes a siccombo. now he has a fully built ls and fully builet tranny, he has added all the goodies to compete in the sportsman class. he is aiming to layout the biggest numbers ever layed out with a non vtec ls motor. if anyone has ?s on ls stuff hit me up, i got the recipe.

It's for the manual boost controller. In second gear I can hit that so all 16lbs of boost come in and not shred the tires off in first gear

Hey man is the car reliable and everything. i have the exact same thing i got a 2000 integra but the head is messed up so i got a 1995 integra b18b1 and im gonna turbo it and drop it in.any recomendations??mines gonna be t3/t4 also

Yeah it was just fine for 20k miles before I replaced the internals with forged stuff, but it still had great compression to the last day. Get a good tune, and I mean GOOOOD, and don't abuse it everyday, just on the weekends and it'll be fine.

No, you can see at 0:12 and 0:13 that he has an aftermarket clutch disc and pressure plate. Its the big red thing on the engine. But i can see why you think its auto, on the tachometer hes got the line where it usually says what gear ur in for auto integras. But i think it was an auto but he did a conversion to change it to manual
