  • great song but always hated the rap bits!

  • Sarah,you are so beautiful!

    I love you so much!

    I love you Bananarama!

  • this is excllent..why it wasn't a hit I'll never know

  • Aaaaahwwww, Keren Woodward: always was and always will be hot and beautiful!!

  • Can ya tell it was the beginning of the 90s

  • "...primrose color dancing at your feet!"

  • My sister bought this 45... It wasn't played overmuch on the radio...

  • Love Bananarama but I always got the feeling they knew gay men loved them & bought their records but they didn't care, just milked it.

  • Lousy boring song,

  • How did this song not chart well? When I bought the album (Pop Life) I played this song over and over again. The whole album is great.

  • jaquie we miss you, where are you now?

  • Very poor chart performance, peaked at 76 in the UK, their first (and only until 2010's Love Don't Live Here) single to not make the top 75

  • Absolutely awful. Shameful.

  • the groid voice ruins part of it but it still sounds good.

  • i didn't know they went 'wigger'.

  • @IIIIdepechemodeIIII

the groids told them to be heard you have to make groid music. it just makes the fans they have leave. this good except for the groid voice.

  • esta canción de Bananarama es una de mis favoritas, creo que es de la que más escucho en mi ipod, pero la version original que aparece en album Pop Life

  • Is this the one written by George Michael?

  • Comment removed

  • why did siobhan leave?

  • why did jacquie o'sullivan leave?

  • marriage with dave stewart, children?

    new start with shakespear's sister?

    who knows?

  • Problems with the producers. She didn't want to sing what they wanted them to sing.

  • I love the George Michael remix, heard it? I wish this had been the first track from Pop life - an amazing albumn

  • I had the 12 inch of remixes which featured "Sweet Exorcist" remixes (as in one half of Cabaret Voltaire)...if anyone has it please please please post for this ol' Cheesey Quaver! If you've never heard of it go to Discogs and add this to the url: Bananarama-Tripping-On-Your-Love/release/464818

  • What a travesty unto the TB-303.. you can barely hear it!

  • One of my fave songs off a poorly promoted, but great album. Dang you London Records!

  • Possibly their best song ever

  • very underrated tune from the fab 3 - i love this jam!!!!! pure fruity goodness!!!!

  • The whole 'Grunge' fad killed much chance this awesome album had of success. Their record company did not promote the album at all. Plus, Sara was pregnant...

This song was supposed to be the first single off the album, but London execs did not want that... they f'kd things up yet again...

It nearly went top 10 in Billboard Club. But, no promotion... Too bad, I remember Entertainment Weekly gave the album a glowing review, and an A.

  • I think this song would've done far much better if it had been the first single of the album....

I prefer this much more than ONLY YOUR LOVE, which is nice but not as good and powerful as Tripping... plus... Long Train Running as a 3rd Single... a Big Flop... I love the nanas but LTR was a huge mistake...

  • i still don't why this was never a big hit for the girls. all the singles from pop life were great, especially this one. was sarah pregnant in this video? :)

  • Love them. Love the song. Sara is the best banana.

  • No one is hotter than keren!!!

  • @AdrianMLeigh36 You know how to get on the 'Rams good side? Ask them how they got the name. They love it!

  • @AdrianMLeigh36 And I agree--Sarah has always been my favorite, too. I"ve seen her in many interviews and she looks like she'd be a blast to go bar hopping with! She is indeed the best bananana. That raunchy lip-licking thing she does in "I Can't Help It" clinched the deal for me.

  • I absolutely love this song and video...but of course, it's from Bananarama!

  • I never heard this Bananarama song in Canada. I think the last hit that charted here by them was "I Heard A Rumour", back in '87.

But, I love this song. I love it a lot!

  • I'm sure this was released around the time of the New Kids On The Block hysteria???...it may have been after but everything was kinda saturated by NKOTB (whom I hated....)

  • 1991

  • cuz her long sexy legs looked hot in them

  • does anyone know why jacquie always wore those striped pants??

  • One of my TOP THREE NANA songs and videos ever! Great track ... brilliant remix (though George's mix is good, too). This is the Radio Edit by Robin Hancock (which could otherwise be called the Euro Trance 7-Inch Edit). This song should have been massive! Ranks among their best work. Go Jacquie !!!

  • I think this is the last new song in the 90's by Bananarama I heard on American radio :(

  • A great song. Should have done better on the charts. One of my fave Nana songs.

  • sara looks a little like she cant be arsed in this vid lol

  • Sarah is very pregnant in this video. Watch it again and spot their attempts to hide it! :-) I think she does have a 'glow' about her in the video.

  • yes i know lol :)

  • I like the metropolis mix of this song that was done by George Michael.

  • Loved the video.

  • I love how Jacquie is so segregated from the other two. It's so wrong.

  • sort of. wikipedia has all the chart position info.

  • this was a hit in the us

  • This should have been a huge hit.
