I think that Jenny and Matt did a great job. They capture the cruelty and crustiness of the Thenardiers. They give awesome emotion to the characters. Matt Lucas was way better than the 10th anniversary Thenardier and Jenny Galloway was Mme in the 10th anniversary so I can compare them.

In the books, Marius comes off as an eighteen year old! A kid trying to figure out love and life and war, not some thirty year old who already is a man and knows it all. Just my opinion though :)

@hanross49 This was a 25th Anniversary Spectacular and so required the best performers. Nick Jonas CAN act and CAN sing but he should not have been included in this one-of-a-kind lineup. He was just added to appeal to the HSM/Camp Rock audience.

I had the pleasure of watching this live in my local vue cinema and i absoultly loved it, I am a massive fan of les miserables and all the cast did a brilliant job, especially nick, wht u have to remember is that marius is normally played by a man of at least 25 or 30 years old so there voice has matured to were it needs to be. Nick did an amazing job and i can't wait to buy the dvd

I'm a big fan of Les miserables and I watched the 25th anniversary I was very dissapointed with Nick. He should go back to what hes good at and keep out of Les Mis he ruined the whole thing as the poor bloke as not got the voice for this. I'm sure they only let him sing to get younger people going to watch him. Shame he can't sing.

I had the pleasure of watching this live in my local vue cinema and i absoultly loved it, I am a massive fan of les miserables and all the cast did a brilliant job, especially nick, wht u have to remember is that marius is normally played by a man of at least 25 or 30 years old so there voice has matured to were it needs to be. Nick did an amazing job and i can't wait to buy the dvd

I'm a big fan of Les miserables and I watched the 25th anniversary I was very dissapointed with Nick. He should go back to what hes good at and keep out of Les Mis he ruined the whole thing as the poor bloke as not got the voice for this. I'm sure they only let him sing to get younger people going to watch him. Shame he can't sing.

@pompeywitchy He obviously can sing. He's a lot younger than most of the men there, so it's no surprise his voice isn't as strong. In my opinion he was phenominal!
