There is callbacks for a reason. If they did well enough to make call backs then the first round doesn't matter. And it doesn't matter who did well the rest of the season, this is a whole new competition and obviously the other teams didn't do well enough, because they didn't win!!
i think everyone needs to understand that they are not the judges and they cant do anything about who won If Maine cheering pisses you off that bad you should just quit Those judges are highly qualified & know what they are doing. They have been judging for a long, long time & have never been complained about like this before I know that one of the judges was an NCA cheerleader who is not bias at all & One judge does not make a team win or loose so if u cant handle the way it is judged. quit!

as a part of maine cheering i found it completely hilarious to read all of this. biddeford won because they improved over the season. they started from shit and finished their second round perfectly however marshwood was near flawless all season. biddo was good the second round but they should have been denied the call back to begin with. marshwood was better all season and during both rounds. state champions shouldn't get first because they lucked out and actually hit their routine for once
who cares if the patriots arent complaining. they arent a bunch of high school girls. and unlike the seniors they get to play as long as they want. there are many superbowls to come for them, and with all the seniors that was the last state championship for them. I'd be a bit pissy too.

great job tigers you ladies are solid and fierce when push comes to shove. As a former rival of yours I say this in good taste. The routine was a bit dry. I say good solid tumbling and talent won this routine well deservingly. Obviously not a crowd fave. and I 'd agree. Be more creative and don't use the same choreography years in a row. Standing out counts in other areas besides domination over other teams.

Lady Tigers - this week's distasteful and inaccurate comments from the second place team shows that they truly don't deserve to win. They didn't win on the mat and they didn't win with good sportsmanship. This week they showed their true colors. What a shame. I agree that this months distasteful and inaccurate comments show poor sportsmanship, however you truely need to take a look at all the comments before you comment.Some of the Biddeford cheerleaders comments on the Marshwood site have been just as distasteful. Actually some were smart enough not to say them on youtube, but rather in other ways, so their true colors wouldn't shine through!
Marshwood is disappointed and has every right to be! States was not judged fairly!
It has even been said on this site and in the news that Marshwood was "Clearly the crowd favorite", so what did a thousand people in the stands see, that the judges didn't?

I'm a former cheerleader from Lewiston and I firmly believe that Marshwood was the best team at states. I do feel it would be better to bring in out of state judges because at least some of the judges have seen every team's routine for the year from judging prior competitions. Bringing in judges that haven't seen any of the routines would eliminate any bias that people are arguing about. I feel the best team would win in this predicament. States could for once be fair and square.
becuase if you know biddeford they only did five comps. and congratulations to marshwood for winning a lot, see the thing is biddeford didnt want those titles they wanted states. They only worked for states, and look who got it.

they won most of the time because could never hit there routine in comps. They always had a fall or something wrong. so second round at states when they nailed it they were better.

the girl all the way to the right doesn't do a heelstretch. she didn't mess up. she's supposed to go straight to the bird and that's exactly what she did.
now that we know why they made call backs, lets talk about why they won...if someone would put the second round for Marshwood on here, you would notice that the stunt group in the back and on the right for the bow and arrow was shaky and the flyer skipped the heel thingy all together (you know, the same one Biddo does but Biddo does it better). In the second round, Biddeford did a better job hands down.
OK...here's the deal...Biddeford made the call backs because even though other teams did a perfect job in the first round and Biddeford made one mistake, Biddeford had a harder routine.
it must have sucked for u guys knowing the crowd was not entertained whatsoever and they have to plug their ears because of that horrid music. but i give u props because i definitely couldnt listen to that music everyday at practice
Last time i checked everyone wanted marshwood to lose they all came up and told me so everyone is just mad because we won and everyone hates the winners every year. and oxford hills wasn't the ones that should be had about call backs what about the eddies they didn't get it by .2 and i feel bad about that

you Marshwood girls are just jealous because you weren't named the best! Stop monthing off and sitting on your butts at the computer whinning. Biddeford will be at New Englands waiting for you "So Sweet" girls. So heres one more chance to see if you can beat the State Champion Tigers.
Get over yourselves, the judges gave the award to the best team who deserved it.
Can't wait to see you in new Englands.!

pretty sure i'm not getting into a fight i just think its a joke how all of you are fighting. and the reason i commented this video was because i always here the cheerleaders at lunch talking about how they should've won so i figured i would check it out to see what all this talk is and yeah its a joke and a half its not like you lost moeny you lost a comp.

i just thought i would let you all know that you girls truely made my day =] It makes me realize how much of a joke most girls are. I don't see why you are still fighting about something thats been done for quite sometime now. All though it makes my day to read how rediculous these "virtual" fights are, you should probably stop fighting over cheerleading cause its a joke.

umm. this teams ok, but marshwood deffinetly had a better routine. sorry guys. i'm from a different state, and i agree with the other girls. You dropped a stunt, had wobbles, and barely any doubles. I felt no energy in this routine. sorry. you're good and all, but Marshwood was way better.

great job tigers you ladies are solid and fierce when push comes to shove. As a former rival of yours I say this in good taste. The routine was a bit dry. I say good solid tumbling and talent won this routine well deservingly. Obviously not a crowd fave. and I 'd agree. Be more creative and don't use the same choreography years in a row. Standing out counts in other areas besides domination over other teams.

i must say it kind of a stupid agrument fighting over who worked harder and who deserved it more. no one was at anyone elses practices, i'm sure we all work extremly hard! it showed, as both marshwood and biddeford saw score increases.however..congrats biddeford, you girls really improved alot throughout the course of this season. I dont mean this meanly at all but if someone had told me at shiners that you girls would be winning states i wouldn't have believed it.propts on your work this season

Lady Tigers - this week's distasteful and inaccurate comments from the second place team shows that they truly don't deserve to win. They didn't win on the mat and they didn't win with good sportsmanship. This week they showed their true colors. What a shame. Your hard work & the will to win is a true testament to the tiger spirit in you. Your coaches are great leaders. Be proud of your accomplishment!

I agree that this months distasteful and inaccurate comments show poor sportsmanship, however you truely need to take a look at all the comments before you comment.Some of the Biddeford cheerleaders comments on the Marshwood site have been just as distasteful. Actually some were smart enough not to say them on youtube, but rather in other ways, so their true colors wouldn't shine through!
Marshwood is disappointed and has every right to be! States was not judged fairly!

I'm a former cheerleader from Lewiston and I firmly believe that Marshwood was the best team at states. I do feel it would be better to bring in out of state judges because at least some of the judges have seen every team's routine for the year from judging prior competitions. Bringing in judges that haven't seen any of the routines would eliminate any bias that people are arguing about. I feel the best team would win in this predicament. States could for once be fair and square.

yeah marshwood is 6-1 and biddeford is 1-5
becuase if you know biddeford they only did five comps. and congratulations to marshwood for winning a lot, see the thing is biddeford didnt want those titles they wanted states. They only worked for states, and look who got it.

with just biddeford. i do recall seeing
marshwoods standing ovation consisting of
MW.EL.scarborough.saco.OH and the scarborough
cheerleaders were the only ones standing up
clapping through their whole presentation of
awards to the individual cheerleaders. and still a state champion team needs to hit it
every time.

1-5,marshwood went 5-1. if your routine was so
much harder why did marshwood win a majority
of the time? why did at the very first
competition, marshwood win by i think 30
points was it? and you guys win by POINT SIX.

actually biddeford was in second first round so we would have made it anyway. It would have been lewiston or scarborough that didnt make it to call backs

Biddo get over ur big EGO!! Marshwood Won! They hit there routine every competition including states and u cant deny that.... marshwood hit it both time perfect... and u didnt u dropped ur scrop to heelstretch in the first round!! Marshwood didnt drop anything... reguardless if the 1st round counted or not state champs hit every time no matter what.. like marshwood did at every competition.... thank-you 2 the girls on biddo who clapped 4 MHS b/c they knew MHS desevered it!

now that we know why they made call backs, lets talk about why they won...if someone would put the second round for Marshwood on here, you would notice that the stunt group in the back and on the right for the bow and arrow was shaky and the flyer skipped the heel thingy all together (you know, the same one Biddo does but Biddo does it better). In the second round, Biddeford did a better job hands down.
